Ancient family-run Trattoria in the splendid setting of the historic center of Bene Vagienna, an ancient Roman village, the dishes, the service and the welcoming environment are the ingredients for a very pleasant business lunch, worth trying!

We had booked a month before the day of the market which does not come as a surprise, but falls with a very precise cadence and therefore we could arrive prepared instead the staff was reduced to the bare bones and wandered around without stopping and without even having too clear ideas of what he was doing. We had to ask for the wine at least five times and our friend's Coca-Cola Zero arrived while she was practically eating the last part of her main course. That said, the dishes were good, perhaps a starter and a first course and a bit of wine €33 remains at the high end of the general price level.

The place looks well-kept inside, but the entrance is less convincing. I only tasted the pizzeria (which would seem to be their strong point as almost all the other customers ordered pizza). The proposal is adequate, with some interesting ideas in some pizzas. The service is diligent, the guys in the dining room are good, a little less commendable in the kitchen. Disproportionate wait for a place with the soul of a pizzeria, especially on a Friday evening. The desserts are good, but average. The quality/price ratio met expectations.

Excellent food, fast service, compatible with the day of the Antiques Market which brought, like us, a sea of ​​people to Bene Vagienna. The tagliolini with mushrooms, the veal with tuna sauce and the wonderful dessert are excellent. I highly recommend it

We were here for lunch after a tour of the historic market which is held in Benevagienna every fifth Sunday of the month. To be fair, I'll say straight away that the amount of people present at the event was truly remarkable, so the restaurant was also stormed inside and out, with consequences on the speed of service which was slowed down a bit. Having said that, we had an appetizer each, a first course each, two beers and a coffee for a total of €33 per person. Maybe a little expensive? Yes. With €35 you can eat a full lunch in various quality farmhouses in Piedmont. In any case the dishes were excellent and I have nothing to say especially the flan was top! If you want to go when the market is on, book in advance and keep in mind that they serve lunch in two shifts: 12.15pm and 1.15pm and there is a huge turnout.

Stopped here after a hike. Great service, friendly staff, delicious food. We'd love to come back.

Posto carino, cibo buono , peccato che la consegna dei piatti è avvenuta in tre tempi diversi. Così abbiamo mangiato tutti e tre da soli , noi avevamo già finito da dieci minuti a mio figlio doveva ancora arrivare la pasta.
