I'm revising my previous review. This is a historic Mantua restaurant. Traditional dishes, but sometimes, in the kitchen, they lose their composure. On the last occasion, for example, we were served a first course that, to call al dente, was simply too much. What's disappointing is not seeing a smile. In other words, there's a lack of "friendliness," and that's a shame: perhaps the customer would appreciate it.

Weekend in Mantua and dinner for two in this trattoria found on the internet. We dined in the pleasant outdoor area covered by a beautiful pergola. We tasted an excellent ham, two typical first courses of the area and two second courses including the stracotto that could not be missed. All good Kind and helpful staff.. fair prices.

Great typical food from Mantova. Large portions and fast service. Prices are very reasonable too. Strongly recommended.

Ristorante in centro molto carino. Belle sale ed ampio patio. Ottimo servizio e buonissima cucina, soprattutto per i piatti della tradizione locale.

We ate quite well. The stew was good, but we found it a little salty, but the presentation in the cocotte was very nice. In our opinion, the pumpkin tortelli had a dough that was too thick and an overpowering amaretti flavor. The outdoor area under the pergola where we were seated was beautiful. However, the price is average.

Storica tratttoria mantovana, leggermente al di fuori del centro storico. Ambiente tradizionale e menù tipicamente mantovano. Il piatto forte sono i maccheroncini al torchio con lo stracotto: abbondanti, saporiti, ricchi di condimento e perfettamente amalgamati tra pasta e stracotto. Se venite qui, sono un piatto assolutamente da non perdere. Antipasto di salumi di buona qualità, buono il bollito misto e anche i dolci. Porzioni abbondanti, prezzi nella media e personale gentile. In definitiva, uno dei miei ristoranti preferiti a Mantova.

10/07/2025: Marika and Morena offered a classy welcome, with helpful and professional service. Impeccable service and exquisite food. We sampled fish, artistically plated with hand-picked fresh flowers that complemented the dishes in a color palette. The terrace overlooking the Mincio River is a charming setting. The Ferrari family knows how to run this historic and elegant inn.

21/07/2025: A wonderful experience at this historic Osteria. The room was new, functional, and spacious, with excellent linens. The bathroom was very spacious, with top-quality towels. The dinner was excellent, and the ingredients were exceptional. The outdoor setting is very pleasant, with a pool and a well-kept lawn. The owner was wonderful, as were all the staff. We'll definitely be back.
06/07/2025: Spacious and cool outdoor location, with swimming pool. Excellent food.
