A restaurant that's a home, not just in appearance. Clean, well-kept, and welcoming. The girls are truly special: smiling, eager to please, they make you feel at ease, and when you leave, you're left feeling grateful. The food is good, with set dishes to choose from, but it's not an à la carte restaurant. We went there two nights in a row because we had such a great time. Traditional Piedmontese dishes, excellent meat in all its variations, from appetizers to main courses, and what can we say about the gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese? Wide selection of desserts. The stuffed peaches are top-notch. Cost around €30 per person, including a quart of wine and water. Reservations are recommended, as there aren't many seats. Highly recommended.

No menu, no vegetarian options
We had booked by phone, attracted by the good reviews. There were ten of us. Upon arrival, they brought us only the wine list (no actual menu), two bottles of water, and some breadsticks. We waited a long time before a waitress approached us: she verbally listed the available dishes, without listing prices or providing any allergen information.
When we asked for vegetarian options, we were told there were only flans and, perhaps, a couple of frittatas left over from lunch. A girl in the group, allergic to milk and dairy products (not contact allergies), asked if there was anything suitable for her: she was told that even the meat is sautéed in butter and that, at most, they could offer her a simple pasta dish.
Faced with such uncertainty and the total lack of alternatives, we decided not to continue with our order. We did, however, pay the cover charge (30 euros total) for two bottles of water and the breadsticks.
I can't judge the quality of the food, but the experience was disappointing. No one was rude, but the management seemed disorganized and inattentive to dietary requirements. A user-friendly menu and a little flexibility would have made a difference.

In occasione della fiera degli acciugai, abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante, come mi era stato preventivamente detto al telefono per la giornata era previsto un menù dell'acciuga.
All'esterno il ristorante è poco visibile, ma lo abbiamo comunque trovato...
Il menù prevedeva un tris di antipasti, sempre collegati all'acciuga, un primo tajarin alla bagna cauda, ero un pò preoccupata per la digestione... eravano veramente ottimi e delicati... a seguire secondo e dolci!
Un servizio ottimo, è stata un pò lunga l'attesa iniziale, perché aspettavano che la gente arrivasse...
Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti!!!

Sabato 31 maggio, con amici, dopo una breve visita alla fiera dell'acciuga e ai monumenti storici (mulino della riviera, ponte del diavolo, etc...) abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria storica nel centro di Dronero. Personale molto gentile e piatti molto gradevoli (l'agnello era squisito!). Rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente buono.
