No menu, no vegetarian options We had booked by phone, attracted by the good reviews. There were ten of us. Upon arrival, they brought us only the wine list (no actual menu), two bottles of water, and some breadsticks. We waited a long time before a waitress approached us: she verbally listed the available dishes, without listing prices or providing any allergen information. When we asked for vegetarian options, we were told there were only flans and, perhaps, a couple of frittatas left over from lunch. A girl in the group, allergic to milk and dairy products (not contact allergies), asked if there was anything suitable for her: she was told that even the meat is sautéed in butter and that, at most, they could offer her a simple pasta dish. Faced with such uncertainty and the total lack of alternatives, we decided not to continue with our order. We did, however, pay the cover charge (30 euros total) for two bottles of water and the breadsticks. I can't judge the quality of the food, but the experience was disappointing. No one was rude, but the management seemed disorganized and inattentive to dietary requirements. A user-friendly menu and a little flexibility would have made a difference.

Di passaggio a Dronero ritorniamo per la seconda volta in questo locale che già ci era piaciuto. Riconfermo l'ottima cucina e la gentilezza trovata. Porzioni giuste ad un prezzo veramente onesto. Il locale è piccolo ma molto accogliente. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Consigliato!

Piacevole scoperta. Ispirati dal nome del locale abbiamo deciso di provarlo chiamando appena 10 min prima del nostro arrivo per farci riservare un tavolo. La ragazza è stata subito disponibile e gentile. Siamo stati accolti in un piccolo, ma accoglientissimo locale a cui si accede salendo una piccola scala di un portone sotto i portici della via principale. Le volte in mattone e lo stile rustico chic mi ha subito colpita. Appena seduti siamo stati subito calcolati (cosa non scontata) e ci hanno proposto i piatti del giorno facendoci scegliere tra 5 antipasti, 2 primi, 2 secondi, 5 dolci. Io e il mio compagno abbiamo deciso di prendere esattamente gli stessi piatti perché abbiamo gusti pressoché simili e siamo rimasti ampiamente soddisfatti sia per qualità del servizio, sia per qualità del cibo, sia per il conto onesto che pensavamo fosse più alto. Se capitate da queste parti fermatevi e non ve ne pentirete.
