Discovered this little restaurant in the heart of the Nebrodi by chance. We ate very well, impeccable service despite the particular day (mid-August), excellent starters, very tender and truly excellent grilled meat. An experience definitely worth repeating

A village trattoria with a recently renovated environment, which offers typical dishes, including the best macaroni rolls in the universe (sorry if it's not much); also grilled meat on the menu (needless to say, prepared to perfection, I'd like to point out the chicken 😄). Also worth tasting is the selection of local cheeses. While waiting you can also read... the books, inspired by local events, written by the owner. Prices more than fair.

Found this restaurant by reading the reviews. What can I say, I have rarely eaten so well, finding truly homemade flavours, first choice ingredients and the ability to transform even simple pan-fried potatoes into a masterpiece!
We ate the appetizers, with cured meats, omelettes and caponata, all of truly superior quality compared to the appetizers found in trattorias, each omelette had its own specific taste and nothing was too greasy or salty, as often happens. We tasted the homemade pasta, delicious with both white ragù and mushrooms and we tried the grilled chicken which is something spectacular, together with grandma's potatoes, which alone were worth the trip! The desserts and the kind and competent welcome from the innkeeper are also excellent and genuine.
The price is absolutely reasonable and in line with the quality of the food.
We hope to return soon!

Those terrible reviews you see tell me a lot about those kinds of individuals/people. Incredibly far from the reality of this wonderful restaurant and owners. Crazy!!
Have returned time and time again so I can give you a well experienced review. It’s quaint with delicious food. Above all, however, are the people who run it. Francesco is such a warm hearted human and great with his recommendations. We could not fault Santina’s cooking either. Sempre buonissimo 😋
Of particular interest, should you not be allergic to mushrooms, is the mushroom fest around Oct/Nov time. Could not stop eating, it was that good! I enjoyed rolling out of the restaurant afterwards.
Will continue to come back and take people here for my reasons above!

I am a regular customer, the emotion I felt after tasting the ravioli for the umpteenth time is indescribable, a mix of refined flavors starting from the appetizer to the dessert.
Great affection on the part of the innkeeper Francesco Federico who manages to elicit laughter and be very engaging in the journey proposed by the cuisine of Mrs. Santina and her helper Giovanni<3.

Traditional cuisine, intense aromas and genuine food cooked well make you feel at home. The pan-fried macaroni and grilled chicken are absolutely worth trying. The owners are exceptionally courteous and friendly.
