Excellent fresh fish, not processed but classic cuisine. True Sicilian flavors. Served as if we were family. Unbeatable price. Compliments to the manager. Highly recommended to people looking for quality but not luxury, it's not at home here.

Eight times out of ten, when I eat out I feel sick. I explained my problem and I think the owner (the gentleman who took the order) told me what I could and couldn't eat. Well, now I'm home and I haven't had any problems! 👌👌👌 So I thank him for his professionalism and........ .....the pasta with squid ink 😋😋😋😋😋😋 FA VO LO SA !!!!👌👌👌👌 ....... Very positive experience! 👍

This evening too (we come to Sicily from Genoa every year and dine at Don Saro at least once), we enjoyed the food, the staff, and the view of the Faraglioni. Great appetizers, including sea urchin roe, spaghetti with clams, and grilled snapper. To finish, a delicious mandarin sorbet. The price was very fair, and the owner was discreetly friendly. See you next summer! NB: The place is authentic, without frills, which is why it's appreciated and worthy of appreciation. Those looking for elaborate plating and pretense are better off elsewhere.

This is an authentic "trattoria" which serves up the morning's freshest fish, so the menu is adapted. If you are looking for TOP quality fish with none of the fuss, this is for you! The antipasti just keep coming, absolutely delicious, then there's a choice of 3 pasta dishes, we didn't enquire about the secondi. There are no desserts, just a lemon sorbet. The service is somewhat chaotic, Italian style, but being on holiday there's no rush to go anywhere. Views stunning, and plenty of locals eating there, always a good sign! A must-have experience.

18/10/2025: Simply the best takeaway pizza I've ever eaten, not only plentiful (I've never been full in my life with a single pizza and I left a "slice" of this one) but with quality ingredients, well cooked and well seasoned, highly recommended.
16/10/2025: Excellent platters and focaccia! I recommend them for their excellent value.

14/11/2025: I was invited by friends to go. I found it to be a rustic place. The homemade appetizers were good and plentiful. There was practically a pizza round, but 14 people brought 7 pizzas. It was just too long to wait. Maybe there were other events going on. All in all, I had a decent evening.
19/10/2025: Exceptional cuisine with the freshest ingredients and impeccable presentation. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes!
