Confirms the experience of the previous comment: be careful with the total of the addition… They would do well to go back to school for math…

First dinner in Venice and it didn't disappoint. Lasagna, porcine soup, and artichoke hearts were all wonderful.

A historic restaurant reputed to be among the best in Venice, located near Piazza San Marco. The restaurant consists of two rooms, one smaller and elegantly furnished next to the entrance, and the other accessed via an external passageway. The tables are literally jammed together, and this is where our reservation was assigned. The number of tables is a "more tables, more money" policy, but it inexorably characterizes the restaurant as a touristy one. We were forced to ask to be moved to the first room so we could talk without shouting. The service was very hasty, the food passable, but the bill of €90.00 per person was disproportionate (a meat main course, side dish, water, and sorbet). The bill was marked up by 12% (!!) for the service charge. A negative experience.

Very busy on Saturday night with several large tables surrounding us. Hence, the low atmosphere score.

My partner and I had lunch on Sunday with our respective families. A truly beautiful location, elegant and with attention to detail. The staff was welcoming and friendly! And what can I say...the food was truly delicious and high-quality! I would definitely recommend it and return.

Fantastisch gegeten in een super gezellig restaurant. Bediening was erg goed en erg professioneel. Als je binnenkomt lijkt het in eerste instantie niet zo gezellig maar achterin het restaurant is het een prachtige authentieke eetzaal met mooie oude details.
