I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Ai Do Forni restaurant in Venice and I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism and the incredible work done. We were a group of 24 people, each with different orders and special needs. Despite the complexity of the situation, the service was impeccable: no one had to wait, and we ate divinely. The staff was not only professional, but also very attentive to detail and always ready to join in on jokes, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Although our table was made up of people from all over the world to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend, the restaurant team managed to manage every request with extraordinary tranquility and efficiency. When I complimented the staff on their excellent service, their response was simply: “We chose this job, this is our job.” This dedication and passion for their craft is reflected in every aspect of their hospitality. I highly recommend Ai Do Forni to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience in Venice. I can't wait to return!

American traveler here. I was struggling to find a traditional Italian restaurant near my hotel in Venice. The man at my hotel’s front desk recommended this spot and it could not have fit the bill better. Everything was excellent - I ordered a delicious tallulini pasta dish with shrimp and artichokes which was amazing. The service was fantastic and the wait staff clearly took a lot of pride in this restaurant, which has been around for more than 50 years. TLDR; I never write Google reviews, but felt obligated to clear the name of a restaurant that did right by me on a day when I truly needed a home-cooked Italian meal.

Best restaurant in Venice, wonderful dishes and impeccable service, very friendly and welcoming staff

Does not get more classic Italian than this, worth a visit! I am extremely picky about my food, believing a restaurant is not worth a visit if I can cook better at home! However, this place met my expectations. I have been twice in the space of 4 days and will probably return again tomorrow. Staff are lovely, and could not recommend this place more if you are looking for a classic, simple, excellent Italian restaurant! (My only criticism was the lamb chops, which were ordered medium rare but came medium well. Nonetheless, the rest of the experience made up for it!) Grazie!

Ristorante dalle caratteristiche classiche corse una sala con troppi tavoli,menu con varie proposte carne pesce cucina un po' pesante dispone di molto personale da pagare , prezzi non proprio economici buona la carta vini anche il banco frigo del pesce ben fornito ,non male nell'insieme ma c'è di meglio a questi costi,non so se ci ritornerei

My experience at Trattoria Do Forni was somewhat mixed. Initially, we were served bread that was quite hard, prompting me to request an exchange. While the main dish was “ok” but nothing special comparing to the price (I was expecting more, as a main of pasta is around 25 euros), I felt it was a bit pricey. On a positive note, the service was excellent; the staff truly enhanced the experience.

TOP , FOLLEMENTE BUONO ! Sono stato oggi sera 17 dicembre una cena al volo per poi scappare a soli due minuti passi dal Ristorante Do forni per esserci al sontuoso Concerto di Natale in Basilica. Come antipasto Le cappesante con i funghi e riso pilaf, assurdamente in contrasto tra un frutto di mare e un fungo di terra ! Però davvero buoni naturalmente con il sugo di funghi !!! Come primo piatto Il famoso Risotto Tiziano al champagne un classico della casa Stratosferico ! Contorno Carciofi e verdure alla griglia . Come dessert Le creeps souzet Flambate! Con una pallina di gelato ! Qualità del prodotto e del servizio molto alta.
