A wonderful atmosphere in a beautifully renovated 17th-century mill. Warm welcome, excellent service, and high-quality ingredients (the homemade giardiniera is top notch), prompt and impeccable service. Highly recommended.

Rustic, charming atmosphere (the giant photos hanging above the counter depicting scenes from Don Camillo and Peppone are stunning) and a very welcoming location. The staff is kind and friendly. I had the pizza and it was truly delicious, light and made with quality ingredients. I'll try the food another time, too. In the meantime, congratulations to all the staff!!

I recommend this restaurant for the kindness, professionalism, and dedication of the staff.
The delicious and refined homemade dishes are typical.
The homemade Lambrusco red wine is of high quality.

The atmosphere was lovely; as soon as we entered, they showed us right to our table (which we had reserved). The menu selection was excellent; we opted for the mixed antipasti, accompanied by giardiniera, gnocco fritto, and grilled polenta. Everything was excellent, though perhaps the polenta should have been grilled a few more minutes. Then we had pumpkin tortelli and risotto with sausage and Lambrusco, the latter truly fantastic and a generous portion. Overall, we were satisfied and would recommend this restaurant. Good quality, excellent value. Reservations are highly recommended.

Questa trattoria ristorante che si trova a Brescello lungo l’argine del fiume Po porta il nome da uno dei due celebri personaggi ideati da Guareschi, Don Camillo e Peppone, interpretati nei famosi film rispettivamente da Fernandel e da Gino Cervi.Il locale ha uno stile rustico, con mattoni facciavista con numerose fotografie che immortalano scene tratte dai film ambientati proprio a Brescello.Qui potrete assaggiare i piatti della cucina tradizionale reggiana come ad esempio tortelli verdi o di zucca, gnocco fritto accompagnato da salumi emiliani e diversi secondi.Se invece siete amanti della pizza, vi consiglio di provarla: è veramente buona!
