Trattoria di Campagna In Sarre

Trattoria is misleading. The food is good (well-prepared dishes with quality ingredients) but it is not a trattoria but a classy restaurant. The sommelier was good at recommending the Aosta Valley wine we drank. Good choice in the dessert trolley.

Incredible restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff. Recommend to book ahead as day before they only had the one table, but definitely worth it! We each ordered primi, secondi and dessert with wines hence the price but is reasonable for the quality and taste.

Calling this place a trattoria is a bit of a misnomer, and my experience and the other reviews I've read seem to reflect that. The restaurant is highly polished in execution - the staff are attentive without being intrusive, the food is very polished and done to a high standard (primi course was the absolute highlight, an extremely impressed table), and the wines are very well selected. The price does reflect this, however the portions were very generous supposing other reviews consider this place to be overpriced. If you're looking for a cost effective trattoria with simple and rustic food & wine, give this place a miss, but if you're after a premium restaurant that you would easily find the likes of in the top areas of London, Milan, NYC etc., this place is worth the stop.

It is not a trattoria, but a nice place and very elegant. Ok the girl you need the wines, very prepared ... but I don't share, I think it is the owner because then I found it at the cash case for the account ... since Being the customer I don't need me to make the explanation of how I prefer to enjoy a certain dish ... and let alone be served on the plate as he wants ... also because in the same very romantic and well -kept environment, you clarify to hear high voice breathing on the serving dishes...the boy who serves the desserts is very kind. Being a polenta lover, an extra pinch of fontina wouldn't have gone amiss.

Excellent restaurant, good food, friendly staff and a decidedly beautiful location.

Uncertainty. I'm a little hesitant to express myself because, in fact, we ate well. We went to this restaurant at the suggestion of the hotel where we are guests (and which among other things would have entitled us to a discount which we indicated as soon as we arrived, as per the provisions, but which was then not given to us when paying , perhaps our fault for not reiterating it a second time). However, the real doubt arose for other reasons: During the meal our 4 year old daughter drank from one of the glasses on the table. We had only ordered still water and instead she ended up with someone else's sparkling water in her mouth. I tasted it in disbelief when the little girl told me it blew bubbles and in fact it wasn't ours! DISGUSTING. Apparently there was already a glass of sparkling water on the table when we arrived. I hadn't noticed but my partner had noticed it without reporting it and in the end we drank it by mistake! I find this very serious. Furthermore, our table was located next to a small door that connected to the other part of the restaurant, a sort of alternative street, and a waiter passed behind our chair 12 times (we counted them with fun, because he could go back to the kitchen from the main street and instead he came behind our table continuously!). The same waiter took my plate away while I was still eating and I found myself placing the salami directly on the table. I'm sorry because in fact the quality of the food was excellent and the sommelier and maitre were really knowledgeable and kind. SIN! I'm a little disappointed by the manager's response. An apology could have been enough and even the proposal to return would have been pleasant and willingly welcomed, given that I lavished compliments on the quality of the food, and on the maitre d' and the sommelier. He asks me the reason for my review but then why the positive ones? They have the same value. But we are in a world where the right to speak is now a joke and criticism is no longer seen as a reason for improvement but aggression when in fact it wasn't at all. The reaction was "oh my god one star! How dare you? It lowers our average". Maybe she would have preferred an on-the-spot rant (because I assure you, my 4-year-old daughter drinking from a stranger's dirty glass made me angry) rather than a true, calm reflection on the positives and negatives. A few more stars doesn't cost me anything and since it's so important to her: here it is. But my intervention was intended to be of a different value from the one interpreted by you. I conclude with a second "sin" allow me this time!

I can only give 5 stars. It was a beautiful evening, I felt at home and pampered. Highly recommend to anyone nearby!

Visitata di domenica, in occasione apertura mercatini. Poco spazio per il posteggio antistante, ma tutto sommato si risolve facilmente a pochi metri di distanza. Buona accoglienza e buona organizzazione, ambiente non propriamente da trattoria, più ricercato e moderno. Cucina quasi a vista, ho notato operare le persone con buona pulizia. I piatti sono buoni, affettati di livello e per il vino è presente una sommelier dedicata. Il ristorante è full, ma i tempi sono rispettati. Personale giovane e dinamico, conto direi giusto. Buona esperienza, torneremo.

Un’eccellente scoperta questa trattoria di campagna. Ambiente rilassante e curato così come la qualità dei piatti, classici valdostani rivisitati in chiave moderna che si mischiano a creazioni davvero eccellenti. La conduzione familiare si percepisce nella “solidità” di questo locale e la cantina è davvero superlativa. Stra consigliato a chi si vuol concedere una bella serata a 360 gradi!
