I discovered it by chance when I was looking for a place to have lunch, and I was drawn to the outdoor tables with the classic checked tablecloth. I love the first courses, always plentiful, and their sautéed chicory, which reminds me of the ones my grandmother used to make.
For me, a small bottle of Castelli wine and a good coffee to finish are a must. The staff is exquisite.

An old Roman tavern, family-run, home-cooked food.
Reminiscent of a bygone era.
Very good tavern....but very good dishes. Roman cuisine. Super Coratella and very good first courses! 🔝 If you are one of those for whom the habit does not make the monk...you are in the right place....if I return to Rome I already know where to go to eat!

I had lunch with my family at this restaurant yesterday. The first courses were excellent. Special mention for the carbonara. All in all, a very good experience.

It is an old-fashioned trattoria. The furnishings convey the time and tradition that is passed down from father to son. When you enter you have the feeling of dining at the home of old friends.
The food is quality.
The prices are average.
I enjoyed the dinner and recommended to try it.

Incredible experience! Really authentic and beautiful place, especially for foreign visitors. Been here in May 2025 with my family and absolutely loved our dinner. Caneloni, lasagna, carbonara, inexpensive bottle of Syrah. We were directly served by the old lady, who appeared to be the owner and her daughter helped her🙏🏻

Caratteristica trattoria familiare con una lunga storia in viale Marconi, con una sala interna (tovaglie e tovaglioli in stoffa a quadretti) e tavolini all'aperto. Menù che propone tanti piatti della tradizione romana: ottime l'amatriciana e la trippa e, tra i dessert, la pera cotta al vapore in mosto di vino. Le porzioni sono più che abbondanti (con condimento a mai finire) e solo dopo essermene accorta ho capito perché nel menù si legge che si può chiedere anche la mezza porzione. Per una pasta al pomodoro e basilico, due amatriciane, un piatto di trippa, due insalate miste, una pera al mosto, una bottiglia piccola di Chianti, due bottiglie d'acqua minerale, due caffè e una grappa, 74 euro. Caldamente consigliata.

Ci sono stato a cena dopo essermi documentato sul posto visto che ho alloggiato vicino.
Trattoria storica romana ed ancora l'ambiente, il personale e i cibi danno l'idea di un tuffo nel passato.
Queste sono le trattorie che lasciano un segno dentro di te, se sai apprezzare la tradizione.
Il menu è impressionante per il numero di scelte di piatti romani ma mi sono fatto consigliare da loro.
Polenta con carne e pecorino, una roba da volare via, certo che dopo non ci sta più niente.
Si un caffè giusto giusto.
Consiglio vivamente per chi vuole vivere la tradizione romana.
Complimenti per la gentilezza dal primo all'ultimo minuto.
