Trattoria found in the Slow Food book, we wanted to try it and it was a great idea. Very characteristic restaurant, very good food and very fresh raw materials (especially the typical Novara risotto), precise and kind service. The only advice I can give is to provide yourself with more high chairs for children and perhaps provide a support for changing children.

Very pleasant surprise. I was looking for a typical trattoria and I found a pleasant environment with excellent cuisine. Excellent products, especially the fried porcini mushrooms, but also the Nebbiolo entrecot, the paniscia and what can we say about the desserts... In short, to come back again and definitely recommend. I forgot... More than fair price!!

A little slow, about 1 hour from order to first course. Decent food, normal. On the cheese plate, the gorgonzola should have been placed in a small bowl and not on a spoon. Very noisy environment with all tables full. The wines are good.

Purtroppo ogni volta va un po’ più al ribasso : antipasto con vitello tonnato “ poco novarese” , pochissima e sotttttilisssima carne con molta salsa troppo cremosa. Il vitello tonnato è un’altra cosa.
Ganascino “ brasato” al dolcetto non valutabile: il brasato è un’altra cosa, la poca “ bagna “ acquosa, la minuscola fettina di polenta di appoggio molliccia e insipida.
Chicca finale, se così si può chiamare, l’aceto servito in bottiglietta di plastica che neanche la mensa aziendale🤦♀️.
Senza infamia e senza lode la paniscia.
Un consiglio: concentrarsi meglio sui piatti novaresi che la “ vecchia” trattoria dello Stadio offriva eccellenti. Non serve infilare in menu il polpo alla brace e l’orata: quelli li mangiamo al mare.
Tutto da riprendere un po’ in mano.

Celebrated my grandmother's 91st birthday and everything was super good, from the typical paniscia to the fresh tuna.
The location is pleasant, typical of an ancient Piedmontese trattoria.
Friendly staff, the girl who served us was smart and dynamic!
We will be back 🫶🏻
