I went to this lovely restaurant with my family and friends. The guys who run it were very nice and kind, and we were treated very well. They were very understanding with our children. The food is very good in this typical restaurant, serving traditional dishes with a modern twist. A place worth trying, definitely. Great job, guys!

We were there this evening for the first time. The guys were incredibly kind and super friendly, so lucky we chose a table near the counter and were able to chat with them. The atmosphere was small and super cozy. Excellent food and average prices. We'll definitely be back, and that's no threat. :)

I chose this lovely trattoria after seeing photos of the dishes in other customers' reviews, which really piqued my interest. I must say, my expectations were fully confirmed. The restaurant is modern yet very welcoming and intimate, perfect for a pleasant dinner. I ordered two entrees, both of which were simply phenomenal. The food is truly excellent and definitely worth a visit. My only complaint concerns the service: I took away a star because one of the two waiters in the dining room was rather unfriendly. I'm certainly not asking for excessive or forced enthusiasm, but a little more friendliness would be appreciated. Despite this small flaw, I will definitely return because the quality of the dishes is truly excellent, and I can't wait to try other specialties on the menu. Highly recommended for those looking for good seafood and authentic flavors.

Today at lunch, as a Genoese, I made a fool of myself with two Sicilian friends. Fried anchovies and frisceu were good, but the portions were rather small. A mind-blowing first course: cacio e pepe pasta with mussels, whose overpowering flavor was nothing but lemon, cloying to say the least. I'd add a portion that wouldn't have fed even a 10-year-old. Trofie al pesto, with a pesto that only Milanese people, who perhaps eat it without garlic, might enjoy, but it was still small. The bread was good, and thank goodness it was there, given the small portions. The "cloud" dessert was good. In my opinion, I spent too much for what we ate. The atmosphere is very nice, quaint, and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. I was expecting a trattoria with a less refined, more rustic menu, and with a pesto worthy of being eaten even by a Genoese who knows how it should be! Definitely dissatisfied.

Highly recommended. The anchovies were truly excellent: simple, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The pasta, a revisited cacio e pepe with fish stock, mussels, and lime, was incredible: a balanced and flavorful dish, an unexpected combination that demonstrates great skill and culinary expertise. The service was very friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. I hope to return to Genoa soon to try the rest of the menu. The basil liqueur is also highly recommended for a perfect finish before heading back to wandering the city streets.
