18/03/2026: My first evening in Milan, I wasn't sure where to go for dinner, and since I didn't know the city, I didn't have a clue. Going to the B&B on a side street, I saw a large sign. That evening, I went. The waiters were polite; they might not be smiling, but they did their job well. The restaurant was beautiful, clean, with lovely decor. I had a cutlet with fries, a large cutlet. The fries were a generous portion. The only "odd" thing about the cutlet was that it was chicken. Where I'm from, yes, I ask for a cutlet. It's beef, but it was a nice surprise since I prefer chicken. The price, a little steep, was almost 30 euros for a cutlet with fries and a water. The portion was large, so perhaps it wasn't that expensive.

Agriturismo Malerba

09/02/2026: An agriturismo just steps from Milan, with a spacious dining room and farm-to-table menu, updated weekly on their website. I tried the mixed cured meats with fried gnocco, which was delicious—not overly greasy, in fact, very light—and the tagliatelle with walnut and bacon cream. But what I really loved most was the risotto with Amarone wine, followed by roast pork with pistachios and potatoes, and a homemade crostata dessert. The staff who welcomed us were kind and very professional, and the waiter who looked after us for lunch was impeccable. Definitely a place to return for the food and the atmosphere the hosts create with their guests.
25/12/2025: You eat well, local and good products, shame about the rainy day, I recommend it
