we had lunch on Sunday 1st June in 4 people. The environment we like, clean, tidy, informal. The owner was very kind and helpful. antipasto for 4 with the addition of a taste of creamed cod and polenta, everything excellent. Then we took two first courses and two second courses that we tasted and it was all delicious. We had promised ourselves not to take the dessert but then we gave in to the bonet and the fioca. I won't tell you what they are, go there and try them. A beautiful Sunday. Highly recommended.

Truly a great discovery! Ate a spectacular gricia, Roman tripe and local cured meats, in an atmosphere from times gone by.

Homemade restaurant, family and informal environment! Dated but clean and managed with passion! The owner serves the tables with precision and courtesy, he explains the situation very well origin of the products and culinary choices! We had lunch outside under a beautiful pergola, with a mixed platter as an appetizer, a first course each (the very tasty gricia!!) and a sample of meat (braised meat and donkey mince) with polenta, dessert (supplied in collaboration with a local pastry shop), water, house wine and coffee! €47 per person! Generous portions, good product quality! Advised!! It is also pleasant to think that our lunch can "support" activities like this, managed at a family level with sacrifices and the intention of offering non-trivial products!

The cuisine is excellent and plentiful. Incredible service from the owner who explains the provenance and quality of every single product served. Fair prices and last but not least a beautiful, very sweet and very polite setter who welcomes us at the entrance and is happily cuddled by those who, like me, love dogs and who for the rest of the lunch remains calmly sitting outside observing her customers... what can I say... we will definitely be back...

Trovandomi a Verbania e non conoscendo la ristorazione del luogo mi sono affidato come al solito a Tripadvisor che mi ha spinto a provare questo locale e non posso che confermare le recensioni positive lette e l'encomio "Traverllers' Choice": cucina assolutamente familiare, materie prime di qualità, piatti tradizionali molto ben cucinati; la simpatia, la passione e la competenza del proprietario nel raccontare piatti e materie prime utilizzate ormai non capitano spesso. Il locale ha pochi tavoli (meglio prenotare) e ha mantenuto lo stile originale retrò delle vecchie trattorie. Di non poco conto: dispone di parcheggio interno. Vale proprio un'esperienza e mi trovo IN TOTALE DISACCORDO con una recensione dell'agosto dello scorso anno che non apprezza nè il locale nè la qualità considerata scarsa: boh!

Esperienza di servizio e cucina veramente excellent e. La gestione ultra familiare con marito e moglie che garantiscono una accoglienza genuina di altri tempi. Il cibo cucinato in maniera attenta con prodotti del territorio. Ottimo il tagliere di salumi e formaggi ed i primi piatti che abbiamo scelto.
