Typical place for a restaurant, the only shame is that to go to the bathroom you need a coat as it is outside the room. Fried pizza and top cured meats... good pisarei and beans but when eaten 2 years ago they were superior. However it remains a good place to eat and good portions.

Trattoria della pace represents for Castelvetro and the nearby province of Cremona a guarantee of taste and quality of the fried cake (or fried gnocco) and the cured meats that are served as an accompaniment. The restaurant inside is homely with not too many seats available, so it is absolutely recommended to book well in advance. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The bill is average with a cost of around 25/30 euros per person if you go in a group. The choice of wines is not very wide but capable of covering the wine macro-areas.

Our lunch a few days ago...
High quality cured meats, culatello, cooked Top shoulder, coppa, striped lard, salami and without forgetting an excellent fried gnocco, now almost impossible to find for its delicacy and digestibility!!
A delicious zola and a pleasant giardiniera.
Pisarei and fasoi a traditional Piacenza dish that is always worth tasting.
Remarkable sliced beef with rocket and porcini mushrooms.
Excellent eggnog cream to finish.
Bonarda wine to best delight our lunch.
The liquorice liqueur is very good.
Roberto a certainty.
Stop and try the Trattoria della Pace.

sono rimasto un po deluso dai piatti. parecchi anni fa mi ricordo un altra cosa affettati buonissimi ,torta fritta....Forse la torta fritta è ancora buona , ma gli affettati commerciali. il vitello tonnato disreto , in compenso la simpatia del personale appale le delusiolni

Il parcheggio è sulla strada, di solito non ci sono problemi. L'accoglienza è cordiale, ci sono posti al chiuso ed all'aperto (coperti, ma secondo me un pochino disturbati).E' una trattoria e trovi quello che ci deve essere in una trattoria, tavola servizio cantina e menu. la cucina è quella locale, su tutto la torta fritta con i salumi giusti, ma anche i tortelli sono ottimi. Per passare una serata fra amici senza troppi problemi secondo me si fa così!
