Three minutes from the highway. We were looking for a simple place with genuine food. We found it. Simple, fast and welcoming service. During the week for lunch there is a simple fixed price menu. Pleasant and quick stop.

Yes advice from a colleague.... Excellent advice! Exceptional fried pie with cured meats and cheeses. "Pisarei e fasoi" really good, I hadn't eaten them, I really liked them a lot. Amazing homemade desserts. It was a wonderful evening, I hope to be able to return, perhaps with friends. All the staff were very nice, friendly and super helpful. My most sincere compliments. WELL DONE!

Typical trattoria place, only shame to go to the bathroom you need a coat since it is outside the place. Fried pizza and top salami... pisarei and beans good but when eaten 2 years ago they were superior. However it remains a good place to eat and right portions.

Trattoria della pace represents for Castelvetro and the nearby province of Cremona a guarantee of taste and quality of the fried cake (or fried gnocco) and the cured meats that are served as an accompaniment. The restaurant inside is homely with not too many seats available, so it is absolutely recommended to book well in advance. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The bill is average with a cost of around 25/30 euros per person if you go in a group. The choice of wines is not very wide but capable of covering the wine macro-areas.

Cena con amici in una sala bella piena e rumorosa, come deve essere una vera trattoria: vino della casa, subito in tavola, piacevole e adatto alle abbondanti portate. Torta fritta rovente, croccante fuori e morbida dentro, perfettamente asciutta e salumi piacentini (coppa, salame, prosciutto crudo, pancetta,...) eccellenti. Il Top la spalla cotta tiepida che si sposa a meraviglia con la torta fritta. Tortelli straordinari serviti in vassoi generosi e pisarei fantastici (il sugo al pomodoro, lievemente acidulo crea dipendenza)! Per chiudere ancora torta fritta con un bel bicchiere di nutella: oltre al fatto che, se non finisci la crema te la puoi portare a casa, si possono collezionare i bicchieri, notoriamente indistruttibili. Insomma: esperienza fantastica che riporta a un modo di mangiare insieme agli amici, ad un convivio sincero, divertente e molto appagante. Menzione speciale per il personale: sono ragazze gentilissime e molto simpatiche senza essere mai invadenti. Ormai sono una sorpresa rara.

sono rimasto un po deluso dai piatti. parecchi anni fa mi ricordo un altra cosa affettati buonissimi ,torta fritta....Forse la torta fritta è ancora buona , ma gli affettati commerciali. il vitello tonnato disreto , in compenso la simpatia del personale appale le delusiolni
