Overall, a positive experience. The outdoor seating in the back is pleasant even in spring and autumn. One tip I can give is about the pizzas. Some of the edges were burnt and particularly tough. The fried foods and appetizers, however, were fine.

We were there last night, very pleasant atmosphere. The food was plentiful and delicious... As a vegetarian, I had no problem choosing what to eat. The waitress was excellent, kind, professional, and attentive.

This review refers only to the pizzas... Nice place, very nice and welcoming outdoor seating, friendly and helpful staff/owner, good pizza, but the big problem is the wait times.
We waited over 45 minutes for some pizzas, and it wasn't too crowded. For a dinner, from pizza to coffee, it took over two hours, too long... It's a shame because, apart from the wait, it was a lovely evening. Anyway, I recommend trying the trattoria... I'll also try the restaurant and maybe I'll gladly change my review if the service is quicker.

Initially a good experience, with a nice and welcoming atmosphere, good service, and excellent food. Unfortunately, something unfortunate happened: the guy at the cash register was very rude and impolite, all because we complained that the oil in the bottle wasn't from the Nardo' cooperative, which we know very well. I'm sorry, we won't be returning.

I've had dinner there more than once, the pizza, the fried foods (broad beans and chicory), the fried fish, the pasta with mussels, very good service, fast, clean and pleasant place. The only negative note was when we had dinner, the meat was a bit disappointing, the mixed grill and my beef steak. I didn't really like the quality of the meat or the cooking, and I found the bill to be a bit steep compared to previous times. However, I recommend it 👍

Review made after three visits, two of which were 6 years apart.
Excellent trattoria in the historic center of Nardò.
I tried many of the dishes offered on the menu and found each one exquisite. I recommend the octopus meatballs and the cavatelli mussels and beans.
The atmosphere is rustic but well-kept. If you sit on the terrace there is a high probability that a local kitten will stop by to visit you; there is a colony that seems to particularly love this place.
The service is reasonably fast and the staff is extremely welcoming.
A ritual stop for every time I am lucky enough to visit Salento.

We were there six years ago and we returned this year for two more times! Always everything delicious, high quality cuisine and ingredients. For those in the Nardò/Porto Cesareo area it is an absolutely recommended stop for a good first course that is meat or fish. We also really appreciated the second courses and appetizers (not to mention the wine!). We will definitely return as soon as we have the chance!
