I was there at the beginning of November. Deserted and clean beach. Gorgeous and pleasant water despite the cool wind. I didn't see any particular beach facilities, but since it's November, it could be there. It only has one flaw: the presence of the Enel hydroelectric plant directly on the beach, at one end. If you reach small tip it's at the top!

Ideal for children, little to no current, very gradual slope, sea water temperature quite high by Dutch standards. You can walk from here to the Turkish steps, about 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back, or towards the port of Port Empedocle. Then you pass a power station, in any case there is plenty to see from the beach. However, you don't see anyone kite surfing, blokarting or anything like that. There is a surfing school. Went there in October.

Lovely and wide beach. Clean water. A clean beach, cleaning done early in the morning. Ample parking, although during high season it can happen, especially on weekends, that you don't find a space if you don't arrive early enough.

We visited the beautiful Marinella beach, very crowded at the end of August, parking difficult, crystal clear water, golden sand. Often dirt abandoned on the side of the road and some deterioration of the infrastructure.

Nice wide sandy beach but with the coldest water I've ever experienced on the Mediterranean Sea (it is August)

Nice beach but too many people on weekends, parking difficult. The only advantage is that it is close to Agrigento.

27/12/2024: If you’re looking for a unique experience during your travels to Agrigento you have come to the right place. Patrizia and Luigi, a beautiful husband and wife duo made us feel right at home and even made sure to have a translator present just in case there was a language barrier. All three were divine individuals who welcomed us, quite literally, with open arms. We made this unique stop on our honeymoon, as my roots are from Racalmuto, not far from Agrigento. We wanted to experience true Sicilian home cooked food, as my nonna would have made it. The food was delicious and authentic, each dish came with a detailed explanation of how it was made and where it derived. It was such a pleasure sharing dinner with these amazing people and we cannot wait to return! Grazie mille Patrizia & Luigi 🤍 Ramsin & Lina (the makeup artist)
