All good, nothing to complain about the quality of the food: mixed antipasti and spaghetti with clams fresh and well prepared. However, the final bill of €120 for two (appetizers €60, first courses €26, bread €6, water €2) seemed out of scale with the overall experience. I was not given a menu with prices, only the wine list, and I relied on the waiter. Mea culpa for not asking, but a little more transparency would have been appreciated. The place was very full, a sign that evidently the market responds. But for that amount, honestly, I would have chosen a restaurant with a more attentive service, a more pleasant environment and a more refined gastronomic proposal. The decor is simple, the service essential, the overall experience does not justify the price. If the bill had been around €80/90, it would have been worth it. As it is, it seemed to me an experience not in line with the quality-price ratio. The restaurant is full, so good for them, but I personally wouldn't recommend it to those looking for something more balanced between expense and experience. For the same price I would recommend something different.

Romolo al Porto..... It is a restaurant of the highest level.... The dishes are very particular.... You can appreciate the care and choice of foods always cooked with great skill..... Highly recommended

We tried this renowned restaurant in the port of Anzio and it was a very satisfying experience, we chose the raw tasting menu with 18 courses, all very good and particular, very high quality raw materials, excellent wine list and finally sweet and bitter, kind and helpful staff... definitely worth trying

Good welcome. Despite booking, we received a table at the entrance with constant comings and goings. Very good raw and cooked starters. It's a shame that the first ones arrived while we were still tasting them and in any case not so sensational. Dessert without flavor which we left reporting at the waiter's request. We will return to give further opportunities and advise owners to consider every new customer as a potential repeater.
