Trattoria del pesce In Boretto

We were passing through for one night to visit Brescello (the filming location for Don Camillo). Family-run business, the food there is highly recommended, typical regional cuisine.

We only had lunch after visiting Brescello. We went to this restaurant because we wanted to try two now almost unobtainable local dishes: eel with peas and fried catfish. Satisfied

I had dinner at the restaurant after reading the reviews. Kind people who make the place very familiar. I ate well. The menu was not very varied, but I think it was due to the fact that they didn't have many diners that evening and what's more it was a bad evening, but the food was still good. The cost is right for a complete menu with all the dishes. I think that for lunch there is a totally different cuisine. Clean restrooms. Decent breakfast in the morning

Location located in a very large, beautiful, well-kept and historic context... Huge car park with slide for disabled people...so easily accessible. Large, very clean and.....vintage place....everything in order and with a splendid view, a well-kept garden! Upon entering you go back to the early 1980s.... nothing technological and the atmosphere is familiar... a dive into the past.... like the simple but excellent food... everything expertly homemade... the guinea fowl was exactly what was eaten at weddings of that time, I was a child but I remember and the food was truly spectacular.. Welcomed by the owner in such a kind and simple way which is what we are no longer used to... I highly recommend this restaurant, in my opinion it deserves more than 5 stars...
