Excellent, if not exceptional, little restaurant by the sea, excellent food from appetizers to dessert, cooked to perfection... excellent fried and grilled food.

I go there every summer... I love it! Very nice place near the sea, good vibe, friendly staff, and a very chilled atmosphere! One of the best in the area.

We've made this a regular stop every year when we come here on vacation. The fried food is a guarantee, but everything else is also really good. Plus, Luca and his staff are very helpful and friendly. See you next year!!

UPDATE 08/23/2025: After many years, Sun City remains one of the best places to spend an evening here in Marotta. They have good beers and excellent drinks, especially the berry Negroni! This place, along with the other two next to it, is one of the very few bastions of the (almost nonexistent) nightlife in Marotta, and fortunately, you can find older people here. Of the other two places next to it, one is frequented exclusively by underage kids, while the other is somewhere in between. I recommend this place because, in addition to having a more mature clientele, it also offers dinner options of sandwiches, piadinas, salads, and pasta dishes. -------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 8 YEARS AGO: Nice atmosphere, great location, and often live music, shows, or events. The only negative note is the sandwiches which are sometimes not very substantial and/or with probably pre-packaged ingredients, but for everything else and for all the other food nothing to complain about.

Recommended. Excellent food and average price.
