Authentic, rather small restaurant

An authentic Italian gem in Busto Arsizio! We had an amazing experience at La Trattoria del Municipio. The atmosphere is warm and genuinely Italian, with that cozy local charm you can only find in traditional trattorias. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding — especially the fresh homemade pasta served with 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano. Best pasta ever. Every bite was full of authentic flavor and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend this place if you want a real taste of Italy and top-class service in a relaxed setting.

Delicious food prepared by the very skilled Lucia, excellent service, very friendly, the place is simple but with pleasant decor and perfect phrases written on the walls. Fair price.

Abbiamo cenato qui con amici che conoscevano il locale visto che è specializzato in cucina senza glutine. Buonissima esperienza. In particolare complimenti alla cuoca per un’ottima parmigiana di melanzane! Mi ha ricordato quella che faceva la mia mamma. Sapore di casa. Locale grazioso e servizio cortese. Prezzi non proprio bassi ma corretti per quanto offerto al cliente. Bravi. 👏🏻

We went to this really nice place this evening with friends. The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, and the prices were also reasonable! Plus, we ate outside in a small but charming square near the restaurant. I recommend it because we'll be back. We'll be back.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena, ospiti di mio cognato che festeggiava il suo compleanno. Abbiamo cenato fuori sul sagrato di una chiesetta, molto carino e tranquillo. Abbiamo preso primi piatti tutti diversi e tutti molto buoni, menzione speciale per i paccheri al pesto di pistacchio con gamberi e i tagliolini alla crema di parmigiano, tartufo nero e nocciole. Ottimi anche i dolci fatti in casa (la coppa crema pasticcera, fragole e panna top). Il servizio è stato attento e gentile. Abbiamo scambiato due chiacchiere con il proprietario di origini pugliesi che ci ha spiegato la scelta di offrire anche ai celiaci la possibilità di gustare gli stessi piatti di chi non ha intolleranze e, da mamma di un'adoloescente celiaca, non posso che complimentarmi perchè mia figlia ha potuto cenare scegliendo, come tutti noi, dal menù e potendo addirittura gustare un ottimo pane fatto in casa che per un celiaco rappresenta davvero un "non plus ultra". Ci torneremo sicuramente e complimenti alla signora Lucia.
