I give it my all because even though some have said the place is a bit bare, the warmth of Pino and the staff (all kind and professional) makes up for it. Personally, the space and atmosphere made me feel at home. The quality of the food and preparation has nothing but praise! Delicious Sicilian cuisine that makes you feel at home. I, along with fellow teachers, accompanied several high school classes. Pino was attentive and not only accommodated everyone's requests, even those outside the set menu, but he was precise with his timing and generous with the portions. Knowing we were going to his place for lunch after our busy schedule was very comforting. Thank you!

It is not true that, as the advertisement says, the fixed price is 25 euros, but you pay 30 euros

“Sicilian menu” feels like a tourist trap. In the menu is clearly written: Minimum 2 person to order per table. We were 4 - two adults with 2 kids. The staff was arguing with us that we all have to order the menu, even the kids! At the end we have AGREED 🙈 that the kids will have regular meals 🤷‍♂️ The food was OK - not great not terrible. But the customer experience sucked 🤯

The food is good, with very good traditional Sicilian dishes, including excellent caponata. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Well located for after opera dinner. Service was good. Food was tasty and of average value. The choices from daily specials menu were better value (deep fried artichoke and salmon/ shrimp pistachio pasta). Reasonable wine selection.

This is a very authentic, typical trattoria with local dishes and wines from Sicily. There are surely a lot of restaurants in Palermo, but this one is particularly cosy and authentic. The staff are incredibly nice and hearty people, they will always find a spot for you and will make you feel comfortable and welcome. Totally recommend.

The restaurant is located just a minute from the Teatro Massimo, right in the city center. The staff is amazing, with Salvo being very courteous and knowledgeable, and chef Antonio producing truly excellent dishes. We had a dry and tasty fried appetizer, followed by some first courses. I personally had a first course with mushrooms, walnuts, crispy pancetta, and pistachios, topped with a bit of stracciatella that was just missing the word. It was all topped off with a tart with yellow cream and pine nuts. Delicious, tidy, and quick. Well done. Recommended.

We decided to dine at this restaurant, attracted by the Sicilian "all you can eat" formula. It works just like sushi: you can order as many courses as you like from the dedicated menu. There's a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and a few second courses. We chose the battered cod, mussels, sardines "a beccafico," and mixed arancini. Everything was delicious, but the sardine meatballs in tomato sauce and the eggplant rolls were truly sublime!! For starters, we tried the pasta with broccoli "arriminato" (I liked it less than the others), busiate alla norma and busiate with pork sauce and sausage, and spaghetti "all'anciova" (spaghetti with anchovies)—spectacular! For main courses, we tried all the fish and meat rolls. Overall, an excellent dinner. I was surprised, as I expected the quality to be lower, considering the all-you-can-eat option costing €25 per person. Attentive service. It's located right behind the Teatro Massimo, but it's not your typical tourist-filled spot. Here, you can enjoy truly delicious traditional dishes.

A truly excellent experience! A well-kept and welcoming place, perfect for both a quick break and a relaxed evening. The menu is varied and well-designed, with quality ingredients and original combinations. Everything we tried was fresh, beautifully presented, and above all delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, which always makes the difference. Excellent value for money, too. A place you'll gladly return to. Highly recommended!
