Excellent location in the historic center behind the Teatro Massimo. Good food typical of Sicilian cuisine.

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. The environment is spacious, well-kept and pleasant. The food is good overall, although in some dishes we found simpler flavors than expected. Some proposals stood out for their taste, while others could have been enhanced more.

The beginning looked good, a very nice waiter took the order, the appetizer was tasty, and the bread was fresh. Unfortunately, I didn't like the main course (fish). Maybe there were too many mixed ingredients for me and the consistency was sticky, I couldn't taste the fish. We wanted to drink coffee and order dessert, but unfortunately no one came to us for over 40 minutes after eating the meal (I will add that we were the first ones to enter the restaurant at 7 p.m. and when we were finishing the main course, there were not many people yet, only a few tables occupied in this smaller part of the room, so I am very surprised that no one was interested or we didn't want to order something else). Later, we told the waiter several times that we wanted to pay, each time he nodded, but then he forgot about us (people in the other room already appeared). Finally I had to come up and say that we would like to pay and leave (it was already before 9 p.m.). Not a pleasant experience.

In the heart of Palermo, a trattoria offering typical dishes. The busiate alla norma and the caponata are excellent. Advised!

Der erste Besuch war in jeder Hinsicht - Speisen, Getränke, Service - so rundweg zufriedenstellend, dass wir am folgenden Tag, diesmal mit Freunden, gleich noch einmal hingegangen sind - und den guten Eindruck bestätigt gefunden haben. Gherardino
