Unfortunately our experience at Trattoria del Massimo did not live up to expectations. Despite the good reviews on The Fork, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The starter of Sicilian delicacies was of medium-low quality, and only the first course proved to be slightly tastier and well made.
However, overall, the value for money was not satisfactory.
Fortunately, we were able to use the discount offered by The Fork, but despite this, I don't think we will return.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.
The waiters (all of them) on the other hand were very kind, polite and prepared!

Large indoor dining room and a smaller garden room which wasn’t as airy. Professional staff was welcoming, attentive and friendly. My wife and I had pizza and salad with house wine for less than 70e. The pizza was delicious, one of the best crusts that we enjoyed in Sicily. The seafood selection was extensive and authentic recipes were offered. To their credit if the staff was disappointed in our food selection they didn’t show it. No smug disdain for our pizza & insulate mista choices. We had a reservation just as they opened for the evening. A nice dinner. Recommended. Central location.

Trattoria in pieno centro dietro il Massimo . Locale grande gestito molto bene . Menù tipico e possibilità menù fisso. Abbiamo provato pasta con le sarde buonissima, busiate pesce spada e pomodorino squisita, fetta di tonno grigliata ottima e una buonissima cassata al forno . Prezzi nella norma
