Even though we hadn't booked on a Saturday night, the very kind and knowledgeable staff found us a table quickly and without conditions (such as finishing first, etc.). The strozzapreti with sauce were very good, the only shame was that the sauce was a little "watery" at the bottom of the plate, but when turned properly with plenty of pecorino cheese they were very good and tasty. The strong point, however, was the cacciatore. Both the rabbit and the lamb were truly spectacular, tender, abundant, tasty and expertly made. Compliments. I would have liked some baked potatoes as a side dish but they only offer fried ones. The torta della nonna was exquisite. A good wine list, all topped off with an excellent red. The beautiful view is worth a trip. Prices like a trattoria but without losing quality.

I went to eat one hot summer in July 2024 and found it excellent... then I went there for a birthday party and honestly I had to review some dishes. Maybe it's because quantitatively speaking they sinned but it's okay!! For me it is still an excellent restaurant

After a visit to the Palestrina Museum we decided to have lunch in this delightful restaurant. Very kind staff, varied menu, genuine and abundant dishes with many references to the territory. Excellent quality/price ratio. Absolutely recommended.

Simple and welcoming place, friendly staff and it costs €25/30 per person, I would say very convenient.

Exceptional, the environment is rustic and welcoming, the service is fast but not pressured, the home cooking leaves you with that good taste of home from times gone by, it's nice to be pampered by the genuine environment, you can't wait to return. Then we are very close to Rome in a splendid village and from this restaurant you can look out and enjoy a beautiful view. Absolutely not to be missed.

Pausa pranzo durante la visita di questo bellissimo angolo del Lazio. Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante quasi per caso, e ci siamo presentati senza prenotare: errore! Il posto era pienissimo, ma, per fortuna, il gentilissimo personale ci ha trovato un tavolo. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo (bruschetta al pomodoro, ravioli al ragù, gnocchetti ai porcini) e bevuto il vino rosso della casa: posto autentico, cibo autentico e conto onestissimo.

Trattoria molto caratteristica con un bellissimo panorama , ci rechiamo qui per un pranzo in famiglia e anche se il tempo non è dei migliori il viaggio viene ripagato da sapori buoni e genuini . Servizio veloce e gentile , pasta fatta in casa ottima con porzioni molto abbondanti, coratella appena fatta superba . Assaggiamo un antipasto della casa con l’aggiunta di verdure grigliate e bruschette , salumi dal sapore deciso e pane del posto , per primo bis di fettuccine ai porcini e gnocchetti al ragù , prendiamo anche un piatto di ravioli ricotta e spinaci con pomodoro fresco. Per secondo coratella appena fatta , bistecche di manzo , abbacchio alla scottadito , tutta la carne e’ molto buona e saporita come le patatine fritte che per fortuna non sono quelle delle buste surgelate ma fatte alla vecchia maniera infatti sono fantastiche . Si conclude con ciambelline al vino e torta di ricotta e cioccolato !! Tutto quello che abbiamo assaggiato ci è piaciuto tantissimo, inoltre i prezzi sono rimasti a 10 anni fa , anche per questo bisogna sempre prenotare perché nel fine settimana è difficile trovare posto !!! Ci torneremo sicuramente a breve ..
