With a nice warm fireplace inside and stone walls it catapults you into the past! Excellent food and welcoming staff

Walk to Serra to see our whitewashed Apennines, with a stop at the Trattoria del Gallo. Lasagne good but not excellent, it was missing a bit of crust. The rabbit cacciatara and accompanying crescentine are excellent, however. There was no more room for desserts...maybe for next time.

09/03/2025: We only had some very good coffees and maffins but I want to write the review for the kindness of the service and the welcome. Spotless restrooms.
10/02/2025: I went there for 3 consecutive years practically every day while studying in Modena. Super friendly and super helpful staff. Highly recommended
