It's been a long time since I went to Serramazzoni and when a friend recommended the trattoria del Gallo to me for the quality of the food, especially the tortellini, I didn't believe him. I had to change my mind: the Gallo restaurant offers tortellini and tigelle which are spectacular. Full 5 stars. The location and the environment in general are pleasant. The service is good.

Traditional restaurant from "our" mountains. Spectacular tortellini and delicious crescentine. Even desserts require lei. Compliments!!!

Abbiamo atteso tantissimo, era un giorno particolare, data la riapertura del centro estivo FITP, dopo 5 anni (quindi diversi clienti inaspettati), ma i tortellini sono valsi l'attesa e così crescentine e dolce. Speriamo di tornarci presto e mangiare più pietanze e con più tranquillità!

A tutti i viandanti della Via Vandelli e non vi consigliamo vivamente di tenere in considerazione la trattoria del Gallo a Serramazzoni per una cena con ottima cucina e trattamento cordiale. 4 viandanti del Piemonte

Classic trattoria.. I felt pampered by the staff: I think it happened to us, the head nurse.. kindly present and friendly.. from the environment: I have a weakness for trattorias, and I felt pleasant sensations as soon as I entered.. to the food: a nice trio of first courses (top tortellini... tagliatelle as well).. we had the roasts (good too) packaged as we were already full... the only real note is that the roast potatoes are from the freezer and arrive at the table dry... yes could improve on the side dishes.. but overall we had a very good time and it was lucky to come across this restaurant.. prices?.. they could also be increased given the portions

We called on a Sunday for lunch at the last minute and they proved available and courteous to take us despite the very short notice and the close time of the kitchen closing. Intimate environment with well separated tables and comfortable seats. Service quite fast but still courteous. food in the norm, at least for what we ordered (tortelloni and roast with potatoes). price in the average. house Lambrusco wine very good. definitely worth a return in case to taste other dishes more calmly

09/07/2024: Great little place to grab a drink and hide away from the sun. The food is not the best, but it is open in the hours when everyone else is closed.
11/06/2024: Good but nothing special, could be improved. The welcome was a little lackluster and the service was rather slow.

04/05/2024: Everything super! Very nice place, attentive, kind and friendly staff and more than excellent food. The prices are a little high unfortunately...
15/02/2024: We wanted borlenghi so I contacted La Nuova Odissea directly. I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, Mr. Paolo, who very kindly offered to let us taste their borlenghi (really excellent!) even though it was Thursday and they only made them during the weekend. Retro place where it is always pleasant to eat in company and have a chat with those who work there. We will definitely be back!
