An old-fashioned, unpretentious osteria with a simple menu written on the blackboard. Excellent spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino, good meatballs in tomato sauce, salami, and so-so Zola polenta... Fast service, low prices.

A little gem nestled in the back of a quiet courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. A bit unusual in terms of service, the menu is dictated directly to you at the table. You should have a basic understanding of Italian or English. But the dishes are excellent and well-portioned. Excellent value for money!

A vintage restaurant as rustic as a country house, with excellent service, friendly staff, good food, and very fair prices. The ricotta, fig, and almond tart is fabulous. Recommended for those with modest expectations.
