Trattoria del Duca In Camogli

Perfect thin crust pizza light sauces and cheese. As good as it gets. We had the salame and portofino. Also nice Tiramisu desert. If you could move this place to the States, you could print money.

We had been in Italy for a week and not had pizza, so we ordered takeaways from this delightful restaurant opposite our hotel. The pizzas are big but with a very thin crust and base. The toppings are generous and tasty. The staff are very friendly. I walked to the trattoria to place our order and sat at a table while the food was prepared. I managed to break two large wine glasses as I stood up and they were really good about it and would not accept payment. We also took a dessert each and a portion of fries. The food was all packaged very well and we had a real feast in our hotel room. Many thanks to all involved. Next time we visit Camogli we will certainly come again and I’ll be more careful!
