Incredible experience! A little gem located in the heart of the Monteveglio Abbey village. The atmosphere is intimate and familiar, the staff is friendly and kind, and the food is incredibly delicious. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

A trattoria in the heart of a village that feels like stepping into a fairytale. I'd like to start by praising the staff: attentive, welcoming, and warm with the customers. It almost feels like lunch at a friend's house. The food is excellent, from the raw ingredients to the most complex dishes. One of the things that really impressed me was the attention to detail in the plating.

While wandering through the hills surrounding Bologna, we happened upon this charming village at lunchtime. We were hungry, so we stopped at this delightful trattoria, where the menu is mostly meat-based, but with a few vegetarian dishes. We had tortellini-filled meatballs for two, of course! Tortellini in broth, porcini mushroom orzotto, dessert, 1/2 liter of wine, coffee, water, and complimentary liqueur, for €40 each. Generous portions, fast service, and a rustic but well-maintained atmosphere! It's a place where you can find pieces reminiscent of years gone by (such as the 1980s ice cream poster). There's also an outdoor seating area. I highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend this trattoria enough. It was easily our favorite meal during our stay in the area. Incredible pastas (I still dream about their house made tortelli stuffed with the creamiest ricotta) local specialties like crescentine and tigelle with excellent cold cuts. The staff was super nice and friendly, especially our waitress whose name I did not catch unfortunately - she put a smile on our faces for sure! Do not miss out on their house Pignoletto, it went down so easily and was very refreshing with the heavier Emilian dishes. Grazie mille!

Cena all'aperto gestita da personale giovane, sempre attento. Come anticipato ho preso i loro fiori di zucca ripieni con formaggio e mortadella: buoni e diversi dal solito. Come primo ho preso la gramigna rossa con salsiccia e peperoni dolci: molto buona ed equilibrata. Come dolce ho assaggiato i biscotti al toccio fatti da loro con del vino passito: biscotti fatti in casa buoni. Gli altri commensali hanno preso la "ciccia cruda" (tartare di fassona) buona. Buona la loro focaccia e le loro streghette iniziali aspettando gli antipasti. Tutto ben fatto.

Piccolo ristorantino accogliente, formale senza essere freddo, qualità del cibo elevatissima, servizio attento e simpatico oltre che molto puntuale. Da ripetere sicuramente! Ottimi i consigli di Paolo!
