This place is truly special. If you are in the region, do yourself a favour and go. It’s set in a gorgeous medieval village with a great view. The food is outstanding. We had the tasting menu for €40 euros per person and highly recommend it. They will customise it for you - for example, if you want to try a particular dish they will swap another one out. All of it was delicious. Particularly recommend the tortellini in broth, and the fior de latte for dessert. Also, reserve a table because it is a popular place and they get booked up.

The young lady who served us was very good, very knowledgeable about the wines and dishes, clear and gave ad hoc advice. In my opinion, not everything was exceptional (I'm referring to the bread and the stuffed guinea fowl appetizer) but everything was still very good so highly recommended. The place is in Monteveglio in the upper part, the very small ancient part where the abbey is also located.

Beautiful trattoria located in the village of Monteveglio.
The staff is really very kind, attentive and prepared.
We had the opportunity to taste the tigelle and the fried gnocco, the tortellini in broth, the tortelli with ricotta filling, and two desserts.
Truly everything was delicious!
The price was reasonable for the service and the excellent quality of the dishes served.
I can't wait to go back!

Welcoming environment, excellent dishes (the homemade tortellini are SUPERLATIVE), the owners Paolo and Alessandra were very kind and told us the history of the village and gave us some tips for discovering the surroundings, the staff were also helpful and friendly. The village and the abbey are suggestive and are worth a visit... Ultimately we will return!! Thanks for everything!

Fantastica trattoria in un borgo incantevole. Cucina ottima, abbiamo provato tutti gli antipasti (quattro) e sono uno meglio dell'altro, in particolare le polpette di lesso. Ottimi i tagliolini con la farina di castagne, ma la portata indimenticabile è la guancia. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

Bella trattoria vicino all'Abbazia di Monteveglio.
Ottima l'accoglienza e bravissime le ragazze del servizio.
Millefoglie di lingua di manzo, prosciutto di Langhirano.
Come secondi un filettino di maiale ed un ganassino, il tutto innaffiato da un'ottimo Negrettino.
