Located in the small abbey village of Monteveglio, this restaurant offers traditional Bolognese cuisine (of a quality no longer found in the city), using carefully selected, local ingredients. The wine list offers a good selection, including mentions of lesser-known local varietals. The service is warm and attentive, explaining the origins of the ingredients and offering advice on the selection. It's the ideal restaurant for a Sunday lunch inspired by memories of grandma's cooking.

A very beautiful venue, located in a medieval village within the walls of the Monteveglio Abbey. Charming inside and beautiful outside, perfect for enjoying the fresh vegetables of the Bolognese hills on warm summer evenings. Refined cuisine creates interesting creations, with refined dishes and delightful pairings. A fine wine cellar showcasing a variety of local and international wines, and professional sommelier service.

A pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined. The staff is kind and attentive, making you feel right at home. The cuisine is traditional, authentic, and full of authentic flavors. I had the tortelli al pomodoro, which were truly excellent: fresh pasta, a balanced filling, and a simple yet flavorful sauce that perfectly complemented the dish. For dessert, I chose the panna cotta, delicate and creamy, perfect for ending the meal on a sweet yet not cloying note. I'll be back!

A very chic venue nestled within the walls of the ancient abbey. Suitable for couples or small groups of up to four people, as it's not very large. Delicious, traditional Bolognese cuisine with a few delightful creative touches. For special evenings, but not only.

We were just talking about our dinner at Trattoria Del Borgo which took place 6 months ago. We both remembered it as one of the best dining experiences of our lives and so we wanted to write a review to praise this beautiful place. The whole village is scenic and magical. Eating here was definitely the highlight of our stay in Monteveglio Alto! We had the tasting menu with wines recommended by the service. To speak about the service: they were absolutely amazing, super nice and friendly, made us feel like at home. And the food? Absolutely memorable, some traditional dishes made in an exceptional way. We were just saying that we hope we will come back one day and experience it again…:) thank you for a truly memorable experience Marian and Flora

I ate there one summer, outside, al fresco... Everything was good... a top culinary experience. It's a shame about the limited parking and the cobblestoned village street, which is beautiful to look at and has a period feel, but very inconvenient for elderly people. Reply to the "reply": Of course! I had a good time and ate well. It's a shame about these two issues: parking and the cobblestoned street, which are a bit restrictive for those with walking difficulties... But that's not a negative for me; on the contrary! I'd gladly return...

First experience at this restaurant nestled in a village, enveloped in a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. The menu offers traditional cuisine, but also some modern twists. I noticed a great focus on seasonal ingredients. The dishes are beautifully presented and very tasty; the first courses and crescentine were excellent. I highly recommend the desserts, too! The service was superb; the waiters were attentive and friendly! The atmosphere is refined and welcoming. The bill was excellent! Highly recommended!

Every time we return, we love it more and more. From the food, which always surprises us with its flavors and attention to detail, to the staff, who transform every dinner into a special occasion. Yesterday, I walked in feeling a little down, and it cheered me up. The final treat was the biscuits for breakfast the next day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We'll definitely be back.
