We ordered a Milanese risotto and ravioli together with a salad. It was very filling!
AL CANTINONE offers traditional Italian and Milanese dishes.
Very warm welcome, discreet and respectful staff. The cuisine is perfect, using fresh ingredients.
As a starter, zucchini flower fritters stuffed with ricotta and mint. Just the right amount of batter, balanced.
As a main course, osso buco accompanied by a Milanese risotto with saffron and Parmesan. The meat is tender and balanced.
A perfect meal.

Fresh and interesting flavors. Loved the lemon risotto. All three of our meals were excellent with great flavor combos. Likewise for bruscetta trio, with pear and ricotta being the favorite.

The food is decent, the risotto is delicious. But the prices are excessively high for what you get. 30 euros for a risotto and a beer is excessive.

First of all: many restaurants near the cathedral are brutally mass-produced and absolutely terrible. We were in Milan for two days and spontaneously tried a few restaurants.
The service was good, the staff spoke English and Italian. There weren't long waits, and the food was beautifully presented and served at the right temperature.
You get white bread with salt and balsamic vinegar as an appetizer, which is billed later, but is absolutely fine as it is. (Service & Tips)
The prices themselves are normal, the meat is good and tasty. The staff are open to criticism. The wine recommendations also matched the dish.
We would like to try the tiramisu next time! Otherwise, it was good.

We found ourselves in this restaurant by chance.
The service and staff were very kind and helpful.
The atmosphere was very refined, a historic place with beautiful exposed beams.
The food was very good and excellent value for money.
A lunch to repeat!

A stone's throw from the Duomo, this restaurant offers both typical and non-typical dishes.
We were welcomed by kind and efficient staff who allowed us to enjoy lunch without pressure despite the large turnout.
We had risotto alla milanese (very good!), grilled chicken with vegetables (neither infamy nor praise) and to finish a ricotta tart (good and generous portion).
The bill was more than fair considering the very central area.
I would recommend turning down the air conditioning a few degrees.
Overall, I will definitely keep it in mind for future visits to Milan!

Locale posizionato in zona centralissima che ha mantenuto sostanzialmente intatto il fascino delle trattorie di un tempo.
Non pienamente soddisfacente l'esperienza culinaria. Abbiamo preso come piatto principale un classico della cucina milanese, ossobuco con risotto, sì appetitoso ma ben lontano dalla tradizione meneghina.
Dessert un poco deludenti.
Servizio molto cordiale e prezzi nella media di Milano e della zona.
