A typical Ligurian trattoria where you can still feel the atmosphere of times gone by. At Osteria dei Funghi in Vezzi Portio, you'll feel right at home, and the food is excellent at very reasonable prices. In the kitchen, Teresa and Selene masterfully prepare their dishes, which in the workers' lunch menu highlight traditional dishes such as Minestrone alla Genovese, Fried Anchovies, Buridda with Cooked Stockfish, Pesto and Walnut Sauce, Stew, and other dishes. On Sundays, the menu is set, featuring appetizers, Ravioli with Ragù, Tagliolini with Mushrooms, and other delicacies. In the dining room, Renato's friendliness and the skill of Micaela and Alessia will truly make you feel at home, as if you were dining with close relatives or your grandmother. Congratulations to everyone!

What a discovery... we stopped in spontaneously and hungry on our mountain bike tour and were served a delicious three-course vegan and vegetarian lunch menu (the owner is vegan herself). As vegetarians and vegans, we couldn't believe it. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were also a lot of locals eating there, which I think speaks for itself. It's definitely worth stopping by 👌🏼 We'll be back..

I happened to stop by on my bike ride, very hungry, and had lunch. The cook is vegan and offers a completely vegan menu! I couldn't believe my luck! Great and delicious menu, super friendly staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️

I'm sure you'll agree, it's an absolutely amazing place. If you're interested in trying the local cuisine and meeting the people, you've come to the right place. It's a popular place, so you might have to wait around ten to fifteen minutes for a table. They just had a local menu, and it was really cheap. Just wanted to say a big thank you for the local feel and the friendly, professional service. Just a heads-up: let us know when you're going to be around, and we'll make sure to include you on the list.

Cena di ieri 20 luglio in famiglia. Abbiamo scelto l antipasto misto che consisteva in salame, pancetta, voul au vent ai funghi, formaggella, tortina di erbe e riso, capricciosa, pescetti in carpione e insalata di songino arricchita da frutta secca tostata e grana, tutto apprezzato. A seguire i ravioli, sia al ragù che al sugo di noci, perfetti nelle due versioni, personalmente preferisco il sugo di noci perché, secondo me, li valorizza. Il secondo proprio non ci stava, abbiamo preso una fetta di torta di mele, buona, per golosità. Vino bianco della casa dal sapore asprigno ma ci piace così , caffè e mirto per digerire, prezzo onesto e servizio sollecito!

10/11/2025: Authentic Piedmontese trattoria. Service a bit slow (perhaps due to the Sunday evening crowds). Homemade ravioli are fantastic. The breaded cutlet is a bit greasy and not crispy. The rabbit with mustard sauce is excellent. The quality/price ratio is definitely above average.
15/09/2025: Found this place while strolling through the narrow alley. I'd passed it many times but never noticed it because the actual entrance is in an alley. We booked for dinner. We went in and the table we booked wasn't ready because we had the option of inside or outside. We opted for the open-air one, which despite facing the street and the train tracks is tucked away in a small, very charming and intimate courtyard. The seafood appetizer was a bit sterile but tasty. The hot fish soup was DELICIOUS! The rabbit was good but too spicy, covering up the gamey flavor. In any case, you could tell there was someone passionate behind the dishes. The owner was very nice in his manners but also a bit restrained, I don't understand why. His voice and firmness, you have a nice place! But maybe it was just an off day. The only downside, I'm sorry to say, is the lack of service, very timid. I assume the guy is either new or not in the business at all, disoriented as if he'd just stumbled upon it by chance, but he was very sweet anyway. Have more confidence in yourself, raise your voice and head held high, because it's a fortune to work in this village, I say this as a former restaurateur... if it weren't for the fact that I have a life here, I would reply to the ad posted :).

16/09/2025: We dined at this restaurant with a meat-based menu. The service was attentive, and the dishes were carefully crafted, reflecting the quality of the ingredients and the cooking techniques. We were completely satisfied. It deserves a higher rating.
