Really quaint and very well looked after place. Really nice. Excellent traditional Lombard cuisine. I'll be back.

In an oasis of great peace and serenity, we find a small jewel in Peschiera Borromeo. We went here on a Sunday lunch and received great service from the guy who looked after us. Kind, courteous, helpful and smiling. We will return even just for him. As for the food, we tried the starter of cured meats with cotechino, the stuffed courgette flowers, the tagliatelle with meat sauce, the suckling pig and the salad with quail. All normal, I highly recommend the cotechino. We did not appreciate either the courgette flowers, which were too salty, nor the tagliatelle, which were too dry, and lacked the broth/fat obtained from cooking the ragù necessary to mix the pasta. Pleasant seconds. By sensation, not tried, I would recommend throwing yourself on the embers and the grill: the scent of a passing rib and the lamb ribs seemed very interesting. The wine list is very complete, with interesting gems and not exaggerated price increases, even if the bottle we chose turned out to be a bad choice: a particularly acidic and sour 2016 Syrah, which I thought would improve with oxygenation, but it was probably been poorly preserved. We recommend for a nice dinner out of town or a Sunday lunch.

We had family lunch with friends on Saturday. Fast and attentive service. Very good food, characteristic location. Definitely worth a return!

non ci tornavo da anni, ma devo dire che la qualità del cibo resta alta.tutto buonissimo e perfettamente cucinato...pancia di maialino, costolette agnello, tonnato, cotoletta . buona scelta dei vini. giardino esterno bello e curato. non è un posto economico, sappiatelo, ma almeno vale la spesa
