Soulless food at sky-high prices. Terrible experience.

I've been to Trattoria dei Cacciatori several times for company dinners. It's a place with amazing food. My absolute favorites are the cotechino as an appetizer and the lamb chop as a main course. The tiramisu and passito di Pantelleria are excellent choices to end the evening. The staff are professional and the service impeccable.

My partner and I spent Sunday lunch at this trattoria. The location is very nice, just a stone's throw from Milan. The food was average: I had the pheasant with polenta and mushrooms, while my partner had the meat ravioli and the Fassone tartare. My dish deserved a 3: the pheasant meat was a bit dry, and there was a lot of oil on the plate; my partner's dishes were the same as the previous rating: I've lived in Piedmont for many years and tried many different types of tartare sauces. Today's tartare wasn't among my favorites, but overall the meat was good. The service wasn't perfect for a few reasons: When ordering, we were asked how we should serve our dishes, and we said to bring the pheasant with the first course. My pheasant arrived less than ten minutes later, and even though I wanted to wait for my boyfriend's dish, the waiter, who passed by after a while, invited me to start eating... We had ordered wine, but the waiter probably forgot to call the attendant, so my glass was served after my dish arrived. The price, in my opinion, was high for a trattoria. Overall, a 3, but the location deserves a 4; everything could definitely be improved.

An experience not to be missed, with top-notch service and hospitality. Fresh, authentic, and delicious food. Worth a visit, even with kids.

Considering the price, it's not cheap: Nice location, the veranda could be improved, but it's not up to par with the rest of the place. The food is good, almost excellent. The service is courteous, professional, and quick, but a bit pricey.
