We were passing through and stopped at this trattoria. Nothing to complain about, the food was delicious, but the desserts could be improved. It's a shame that we ended up paying €16 for two bottles of water and two coffees. Was it a mistake, or is it the usual attitude of the restaurant owner who, thinking they'd never see us again, took the high price and didn't even give us a receipt? Since they told me I'd chosen the wrong restaurant, the bill is this: €96. 2 starters for €9.00 and two starters for €10.00 1 main course for €10.00 3 desserts for €6.00 2 glasses of Bonarda for €4.00 4 cover charges for €1.50.00 That leaves two coffees and two bottles of mineral water. You do the math! Good evening! 20/01/2026 Thank you for re-checking the bill, and when we return to those parts in the spring, she'll give me a €10 discount on my next lunch! And I'm adding a star to my review!

Simple but excellent trattoria in the Asti hills

A classic old Piedmont restaurant, with good, sincere home cooking. Relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Traditional Piedmontese trattoria. I stopped by for a business trip. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was almost homey. Very friendly service from a very kind lady. Recommended.

Average food and a little "cold" but courteous staff.

The atmosphere is pleasantly retro and spotlessly clean. The dishes are truly delicious, made with quality ingredients. I'd been there many years ago and met the old owners again; I was delighted to savor the traditional flavors again. A true Piedmontese osteria! Well done!

The food is good, but unfortunately the name trattoria no longer makes sense. You eat à la carte and it's quite expensive. Two people, including two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, water, 1/4 cup wine, and two coffees, cost €73, which isn't cheap.
