The only restaurant in the area, they feel the weight of responsibilities and therefore everything is excellent, from the food to the location through to the service.

Siamo stati questo fine settimana presso la trattoria, servizio cortese e piatti molto buoni, prezzi nella norma, forse il servizio risulta un po lento.... però.... non guasta così si recuperano le energie perse!!!! Consigliato!

Simple but quality restaurant! good service; typical and characteristic environment!

This trattoria is practically the only place to eat in the municipality of Morterone, the smallest in Italy, reachable from Lecco along the only existing road, Provincial Road 63. The location of the restaurant is directly on the provincial road. There are about ten free parking spaces on the street nearby. Medium-large place, simple but welcoming, with placemats and paper napkins. The tables are partly outdoors on the roadside but sheltered, and also inside. It has a simple menu with a couple of starters, a couple of first courses, a couple of second courses and homemade desserts. Excellent quality of cuisine, with careful presentation of the dishes which are just the right size. There were two of us at lunch and we enjoyed: the platter of local cheeses and artisanal jam, the beetroot risotto and taleggio cream, the tagliatelle with mushrooms and speck, the veal morsels with polenta and mushrooms, loose sparkling white wine, fig jam tart. All very good. It also serves as a bar. Friendly, attentive and fast staff. Excellent average prices. I always determine the average price on the individual dishes and not on the total bill, as many do, which is influenced by the hunger of the moment, therefore by the number of dishes and how many diners are sharing. Given the great demand, booking is recommended. Absolutely recommended.

What a beautiful restaurant!! The perfect place to stop and have a bite to eat. The effort put into offering everything is remarkable, but the prices are reasonable and the service was very good!

Place surrounded by nature. Cube: Game. Better in spring and summer to be outdoors. Super nice host. Very panoramic road even if with narrow sections.. Worth trying. Better to book...
