Attractive hiking paths - might get crowded on sunny weekends! Some nice spot for a short swim as well. ! hours walk to the big waterfall. The ascent to the vase is a bit tricky - good hiking shoes are essential.

Beautiful place for a quiet walk or bike ride along the Cottur cycle path.

Located a 15-minute drive from the city center, you leave the sea to enter a mountain panorama, reminiscent of the Dolomites. Leaving the car at Bagnoli della Rosandra, you go up the asphalt road for a short stretch and then continue on a dirt path that runs alongside the bathing stream at high altitude. The walk is easy, in about an hour you reach the waterfall, and then continue to a small village. In the warmer months you can swim in the various "pools" of the stream. Ideal place for a relaxing walk, or a bath in the stream. I advise

We rode the cycle path from Slovenia to Trieste along the body of the former railway line. It offers bridges, tunnels, rocks, cuts, precipices and beautiful views! There are very different surfaces here - asphalt in Trieste, but higher up gravel sections occasionally with macadam, so clearly for mountain biking.

The place is beautiful, but the trail signage did not seem clear to me and since I went in the afternoon I had to turn around in the middle of a trail without knowing if I was close or far from finishing it, a shame.

Very nicely. The route is not very difficult. However, it is worth wearing shoes with a stronger sole. There is also the possibility of climbing.

This is a beautiful nature reserve on the border with Slovenia. Highly recommended.

Val Rosandra is an ideal place for excursions and walks for all levels of difficulty. There are small paths but also the possibility of climbing. The Rosandra Torrent offers small waterfalls of water as it flows. An ancient Roman aqueduct can be glimpsed at the edge of the path. It's a shame that the two refuges in the valley (Botazzo and Premuda) are closed.
