Stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. Sophia was sweet and they were so generous. I was late for lunch and they gave me tea and cake. Beautiful place. Patricia from US ❤️❤️

Beautiful experience, I had been told about this restaurant for a while, it was a wonderful surprise because the owners and waiters were very kind and quick in their service and did not hesitate to give you more portions, portions for them half but I assure you dishes above the normal portion, excellent food at an excellent price too, the only flaw is that you have to be lucky to book a table🤣🤣🤣 Highly recommended

Remember those trattorias of the past? The ones where it feels like your grandmother is cooking, where everything is delicious and abundant? Well, that's the description of Trattoria Dario e Giuseppina in Rocca di Cave. We spent two days on vacation nearby and were recommended this trattoria with its authentic, unpretentious flavors. We were so satisfied that, despite our short stay, we returned a second time. Everything was extremely authentic and delicious. We sampled the various homemade first courses, served with mutton sauce, ragù, and porcini mushrooms; for the second courses, we enjoyed lamb in every sauce, always super tender, mutton, arrosticini, livers, and offal; and a side of chicory and potatoes, also superb! Of course, as only the olden days could offer, they also offered homemade liqueurs and desserts. An extremely positive note was also the quality and speed of the service, with the very kind and professional staff. Super Pietro, one of the owners, welcomed us like we were at home! Highly recommended!

A warm and friendly welcome. Homemade Roman cuisine, delicious in every course. For my first course, I had gnocchi with codfish and served with tomato and mutton sauce, and my second course was breaded and fried lamb. Delicious.

We were there for Ferragosto 2025. Having worked until 1 pm, they kindly waited for us and reserved a table. There were 5 of us. As soon as we were seated, we had a Flemish cannelloni, then our order. Excellent wines, bread, and Flemish pasta dishes, including sheep's milk pasta, etc. P.S. After telling a very friendly waiter that perhaps my choice of fettuccine might have been better, in 5 minutes 2 Flemish ones arrived. (Spectacular) Then we ordered 6 main courses and side dishes. Of all kinds, all superb. Then they offered us desserts, but while we waited, we sat outside, where they served us 4 types of bitters, grappa, etc. (bottles). Then a splendid cake and coffee. We can only be grateful. PLEASE NOTE: There is one drawback. I'm from Lazie. But honestly, it didn't bother me at all, because everyone, including the owner, are excellent hosts. I thank the waiter with the glasses. (But he took away the Amaro Abbruzzese) 🤣🤣
