Trattoria Dardano In Cortona

We ate there based on the good reviews and unfortunately weren't that impressed. The food tasted okay, but not as outstanding as advertised. The pasta was good, but the steak we ordered was by no means medium, as requested; it was extremely bloody, almost raw. The waitress was friendly, but she spilled my wine while serving. That can happen, and it's no big deal. However, I would have expected to at least be offered a new wine. That didn't happen, and of course, the wine I unfortunately couldn't drink ended up being added to the bill. The atmosphere is also extremely loud, and the tables are so close together that you're practically breathing down each other's necks. You also get the feeling you're just being rushed off because the table is already needed for the next guests.

We wish we had gone here every night it was so delicious. Our kids are 12 and 15- everyone said this was in their favorite dinner in Cortona. So so good! Great for families. Good portions. Vegetarian options. Yummy!

Excellent cuisine and hospitality

Typical trattoria with Tuscan menu, good quality, normal prices, the room is a bit crowded and the tables are very close together.

We had an excellent experience! We didn't make a reservation, but we arrived right after opening. Luckily, all the tables were taken right away. We ordered four different pasta dishes, and they were all delicious. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu, which was also delicious. The prices are excellent, and the service was very friendly and quick. I don't think the Google rating does justice to the experience, which was very positive. We would return.

Cracking Trattoria with a lovely range of starters and pasta . Booking advisable. The owner always welcomes us back when we visit here . Very good value for money

We had dinner at this restaurant on our last night in Cortona, we first asked for mixed bruschetta and Tuscan crostini, but at the same time we also ordered the Florentine steak. The meat was probably ordered too early, because after two minutes on the table it was already cold. The service was not the best, we had to ask twice for drinks... (they had forgotten..) The meat and food were good anyway.

Un tuffo nella cultura del territorio. Tutto ciò che abbiamo assaggiato ci ha deliziato. Vale sicuramente l'attesa. Consiglio i funghi fritti e qualsiasi taglio di carne da loro proposto. 5 stelle complessive (4 per il servizio perché con tante persone si sono dimenticati di noi - avrei dato 2, ma hanno recuperato con simpatia e goliardia)

Ambiente piacevole, di lunedì sera tutti i tavoli occupati. Ottimi i pici all’ aglione, la salsiccia alla griglia e la faraona. Buona la zuppa di verdure. Tiramisù notevole. Possibilità di vino al calice. Consigliato.
