In the heart of Rivoltella, there's a small "Ristorantino" perfect for any occasion, "Trattoria dall'Abate." The restaurant is well-maintained, the wait staff is very friendly, and the food is perfectly balanced...EXCELLENT! Inviting, plentiful dishes, short wait times... just make a reservation to avoid being left empty-handed. The menu reflects the owner, Paolo, who is in love with the sea and the lake. The fish arrives fresh every day from his own fishmonger, and the company's philosophy is healthy, traditional cuisine and quality ingredients. By reservation, you can find your favorite dish, as I did this evening, and enjoy it with an excellent glass of wine, perhaps local. I think I've said it all... Oops! The price?!? Average, no strange surprises. Now all you have to do is try it!!!

Very good experience today at lunch time. Haven't ever eaten such tasty grilliata mista (mixed grilled fish) and frittura del lago (plate of fried local fish). We tried these dishes in many places over the years, but the flavours here were special. We started with a beautiful plate of crudo di pesce (raw fish), which we shared. Plus a small bottle 375 ml of white Lugana Bulgarini, 1 big bottle of water, 2 espressos, in total 103 euro for 2 people. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. This is the place to go for fish!

Domenica a pranzo: un'esperienza che merita una menzione speciale. Gli ottimi piatti di pesce si distinguono per qualità, presentazione curata e porzioni generose. Abbiamo accompagnato il pasto con una bottiglia di Chiaretto del Garda, che si è rivelata la scelta perfetta per esaltare i sapori dei piatti. Il tutto a un prezzo onesto e assolutamente giustificato. Un pranzo che consiglio vivamente!

Attirati dalle buone recensioni abbiamo cenato alla trattoria dell'Abate. Location abbastanza anonima ma piacevole e luminosa, direttamente sulla gardesana con parcheggio antistante a pagamento. Personale interattivo e cordiale, abbiamo mangiato dei buoni piatti di pesce ben presentati. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Nonostante la posizione esposta al flusso superturistico va riconosciuta l'attenzione e la cura per quanto viene proposto. Hanno anche accettato di farmi una sola porzione di risotto (di solito i ristoranti la impongono doppia). Un buon posto per del buon pesce.
