We had a great time. The owner was very kind in finding us a seat. Small but very clean room, including bathroom. Simple but tasty and genuine menu. We enjoyed gnocchi, fettuccine with mushrooms, a short pasta (I don't remember the name) with radicchio and sausage. Then steak, chop, chips and fried aubergines (crispy). To finish, tiramisu and homemade dessert (with apples and amaretti biscuits). We will try to return hoping to find a place.

My husband and I had lunch today, delicious gnocchi, excellent venison stew and braised meat in Barolo. Good local home service. Must try!

Posto caratteristico e molto curato. Siamo andate per gli gnocchi (fantastici) ma c'era anche tanto altro. Personale gentilissimo, ci hanno trovato un posticino anche se non avevamo prenotato. La signora è veramente super. I posti dove vale la pena di andare. Ottime anche le torte. P.s. bagni pulitissimi, lo scrivo perché non succede quasi mai. Consiglio assolutamente.

After spending the morning in Laghi we stopped in the only local restaurant that the reviews said was excellent, and in fact it was! We got their specialty, gnocchi. Really very good served with three separate condiments, butter and sage, ragù and tomato. Very good service and ok prices.

Ottima trattoria. Specializzati in gnocchi con tris di condimenti (burro e salvia, pomodoro, ragù). Ottimo spezzatino di capriolo e melanzane fritte (Chips). Rabosello!

Il Grottino

18/01/2025: The Grottino is not just any bar. You go to the Grottino to live a different experience, among the historical beauties of our Vicenza, and the modern taste of that break with a different flavor that you sometimes need. When you enter, you feel like you are inside a small intimate cave, in search of that treasure created by a chat between old friends, or an evening in company. The tables outside, however, are a passage to the world: sit and observe the people passing by, stories of the life of a Vicenza that wants to live and loves its city. The only thing to be careful about: Grottino is addictive. One push eight leads another, and you will no longer be able to do without that atmosphere immersed in history.
12/01/2025: The strong point are the canapés/cicchetti, very assorted and tasty. The service was chaotic (over 20 minutes just to get a bottle of water to drink). A little expensive.
