A great evening spent with a friend; the food was excellent, but the atmosphere wasn't so great, both because it was hot and because the waiters would occasionally raise their voices. I understand, that's how things are in Catania, but overall, it was fine. 👍🏻

A true institution of Catania's tradition. Here I ate some of the best horse meat ever: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The menu is rich in traditional dishes, from generous and varied appetizers to mixed grills that best represent the local cuisine.
The service is fast, friendly, and efficient, despite the consistently high attendance. The atmosphere is informal, with simple tables that reflect the authentic spirit of popular Sicilian trattorias: no frills, just real food and plenty of substance.
An absolute must for those who want to savor true Catanian tradition and enjoy a genuine experience. Highly recommended for meat lovers!

This place is just outside the city center. A friend recommended it to us, and I have to say I'm sorry I only tried it on our last night in Catania. Previously, we'd always overpaid at places that were maybe half the price.
We had really good, perfectly cooked meat here. If you expect a waiter to be constantly on your back, this isn't the place for you. However, if you want good, simple food at a reasonable price, this is a safe bet.
I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again.

Located in a quaint part of town, perhaps a bit too quaint. Food is good, and it's very cheap, so overall, I'd say it's okay. The meat is tender as promised, and the quality is in line with the price.

Ho deciso di assaggiare la carne di cavallo e mi sono fatta consigliare nella scelta dalla persona che mi ha servita.
Ho preso fettine di cavallo e insalata della nonna senza ricotta (quindi pomodoro e cipolla). Tutto molto buono.
Hanno un bel banco di macelleria.
Inoltre il personale è molto cordiale, oltre alla cortesia verso i clienti si percepisce un clima sereno e allegro. Sembra un dettaglio da poco, ma fa piacere vedere gente che lavora serenamente.
È un posto che mi salverò tra i preferiti.

Locale spartano che permette di consumare sia all'interno sia all'esterno.
Nonostante ci fosse molta confusione, siamo stati serviti in tempi abbastanza brevi.
Abbiamo provato non solo le fettine di carne ma anche la salsiccia e le polpette; tutto buonissimo e di ottima qualità.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
