A gem in the village of Palombaro (CH), an excellent base for various excursions in the wildest Majella mountains. Leonardo, very friendly and affable, offers excellent specialties. The "Vrache di Mulo" (Mullet's Vrache), pappardelle whose shape gives the dish its name because it resembles the rear bridle under a mule's tail, is highly recommended. The mixed roast and lamb are also excellent. You can also stay at the comfortable, air-conditioned B&B l'Arcobaleno, located below the restaurant. Convenient parking is available.

A memorable trattoria! The local first course, "vrache di mulo," is one of the tastiest and most flavorful meat-based first courses I've ever eaten. The menu is very varied, with something for everyone (including pizza), the prices are very fair, and the service is fast and courteous. Highly recommended!

We had lunch with mixed antipasti, both the cured meats and cheeses excellent, and the first courses delicious: the mule pasta and the saffron and licorice powder ravioli were amazing. The grilled lamb was cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious.

03/11/2025: Very welcoming place, quiet, well-kept environment, I imagine the summer... a terrace overlooking the sea☺️ delicious food with impeccable choreography, very attentive service, refined experience to live and I would say at very affordable prices. I don't know who the owners are but the people who welcome customers are delightfully kind.
