Trattoria dai Freer In Varsi

An excellent mix of classic local food, also artisanally produced, and innovative dishes that are absolutely new to me. The owner is an exquisite person, the internal environment is clean, tidy and quiet and the prices are absolutely in line, if not lower than average. A pleasant surprise that you don't always imagine from the outside. Absolutely recommended.

We passed by today and saw the sign for fried cake and cured meats, not having eaten yet, we and our friends thought we would have a "snack" and so we called at 3pm and they replied that the place is open and they would be happy to serve us. After 3 hours of fried pie and cured meats and cheeses we paid the bill which was not at all salty in fact... Thanks to the owner who was kind enough to satisfy us in everything, we will definitely be back

It is located along the main street of Varsi, in Val Ceno, and is a good restaurant, which also offers business menus on weekdays for lunch. The cuisine is typical of the place, the service is professional, the rooms are a little dated, but clean and the prices are honest. Advised.

Today the 5 of us had dinner at Ristorante Root's. Everything tasted excellent. High quality, prepared with great care. The service was also great. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

I'm reviewing this restaurant a few weeks late, but I promised myself I would because it really deserves so much. Happened by chance on our way back from Bardi, this place was truly a wonderful surprise. We were able to enjoy genuine cuisine, simple but at the same time made up of particular combinations. Tortelli among the best I've ever eaten, fried gnocco (sorry, fried cake!) excellent, courtesy and impeccable service, we were truly pampered. I highly recommend it!! Greetings to the owner!
