From starter to dessert everything was delicious, the waiters were kind and the chef was super, highly recommended, try it and believe it!

We found this place by accident, and we highly recommend it! We had crostini and tripe for an appetizer; as a tripe lover, I loved it! Then to finish, the Florentine steak was cooked to perfection, truly succulent! Very friendly service and a welcoming, authentic tavern-like atmosphere! All accompanied by the house wine, which was more than decent for a cask wine! If we were ever in this area again, I'd definitely go back to try the first courses (which looked really good).

A true and authentic trattoria. It's not elegant or refined, but it's exactly what it should be. It doesn't have a varied menu, but that's okay. The quality/price ratio is excellent. We had the Fiorentina steak, which I'd call DOC. EXCELLENT. Cooked to perfection.

5 stars for Gilberto and his entire staff! Fair prices, fast service, a nice place, generous portions...but above all, excellent quality!!! I recommend it especially for the excellent variety of meats offered, but also for the tasty appetizers like bruschetta, cured meats, and local pecorino cheeses. The roast potatoes are also superb, as is the house red wine by the glass.

Excellent trattoria. We stopped for lunch after reading the reviews. The tagliatelle with Chianina beef ragù and the tagliata with potatoes were excellent! The hostess served us kindly and cordially. Excellent value for money.

The excellent quality of the second courses is distinguished by the careful selection of meats, particularly the Irish Black Angus and Irish lamb, which demonstrate exceptional care and passion. The service is impeccable and courteous. The staff is professional and pleasant, and an added bonus is the presence of the owner, whose friendliness and helpfulness make the atmosphere truly welcoming.

12/09/2025: A colleague and I were in Sansepolcro for work. Looking for a quiet place to eat, we stumbled upon this typical Tuscan osteria. As soon as we entered, I was immediately struck by a beautiful drum kit—a musical instrument I play—which made me think the owner was a musician as well as a restaurateur, and I wasn't wrong. But let's not beat around the bush and talk about the place and the food instead. We were greeted by a very professional, kind, polite, and above all knowledgeable young woman who offered advice and clarification both during the selection process and when it came time to serve our dishes, clearing up any doubts and concerns. We sat on the outdoor veranda, as it was a beautiful day today, and ordered the menu, which you can easily find online. I won't list it here, but I want to tell you about what I ate! I had a mixed antipasto with delicacies from days gone by, a wonderful warm liver pâté on warm toasted bread, a panzanella like I hadn't had in a long time, not to mention a wonderful crostini with caramelized onions, as well as cold cuts and excellent cheeses. Then I ordered pici all'aglione, made with a sauce of green tomatoes and, of course, aglione, on which I was advised to grate some fresh Pienza pecorino, grind some pepper, and drizzle with a drizzle of Tuscan DOP olive oil! The pasta wasn't dry, but fresh pici with a fantastic consistency. They were perfect, perhaps—and I'm not exaggerating—the best pici all'aglione I've ever eaten! I want to compliment chef Batterista and his staff. Highly recommended.
