Old style tavern in Piazza Malpighi. The place is not very big so booking is necessary. We were welcomed with courtesy, we ate well without biblical expectations. Typical dishes of the Bolognese tradition, really tasty and well prepared. We opted for several off-menu dishes of the day and were thrilled.

Thanks to a voucher I come to try this little place in Piazza Malpighi. Very vast menu and from this we take the lasagna, tagliatelle, Bolognese cutlet and a portion of boiled meatballs. The costs are slightly tipsier than average, just a few euros more per serving, however the lasagna was not bad, the tagliatelle had too much tasty ragù, the schnitzel was also not bad, a little too cheesy and the meatballs were special and good. Really excellent and very friendly service, so I didn't mind having tried it, I would say that more than 3 stars I would give 3.5.

Located in front of the Basilica of San Francesco in Piazza Malpighi, the trattoria maintains remarkable care over the foods of old Bologna which can be enjoyed in their version still uncontaminated by the tastes of tourists. I recommend the cutlet which is certainly a great gastronomic challenge (I recommend taking one for two) and the first courses. The staff is very welcoming and the environment is pleasant, especially the outdoor space on beautiful sunny days. Prices are average for the center of Bologna.

Traditional Bolognese dishes in an intimate and very quiet environment, finally a restaurant where the owners talk to you and above all listen. Far from all that chaos linked to food and wine tourism, you can dine peacefully and enjoy it calmly. Vegetable flan on parmesan cream, tortellini, Petroniana cutlet and the legendary turkey.

We stopped by pure chance on Sunday 29 September on our way back from San Luca, all 3 of us ate and enjoyed the Cotoletta alla Praetoriana accompanied by roasted potatoes...Everything was fabulous and the staff were top notch...Experience to try again on the 1st occasion.

Prenotato con "The fork", Ci siamo messi dentro, purtroppo non c'è l'aria condizionata e quindi era piuttosto caldo. Locale piuttosto piccolo, dentro, però con possibilità di tavoli all'aperto, fuori. Molto carino al piano di sotto dove sono i bagni. Cibo abbastanza buono, forse un pochino più costoso della media. Eravamo davvero pieni a fine cena... fondamentalmente è andato tutto bene, ripeto, forse solo i prezzi un poco più alti della media.
