After a day in Bologna before returning to the hotel we had dinner here. Very friendly and helpful staff, we ordered the green lasagna, the schnitzel with raw ham and cheese and potato fondue, which was the BOMB, a sliced ​​beef and a chicken salad. All very good and above all very generous portions.

The food was very good, despite the reserved tables, the staff managed to accommodate 4 people. The food came very quickly and was very good. The service had no problem with English. Desserts also very good.

A pochi passi dal centro, location piccolino ma accogliente. Presa una tagliatelle al ragù= buona. Un frioggione alla bolognese = buona. Un guancia di manzo stracotto al vino con purè= buono, tenerissimo. Servizio ottimo.

Incuriositi dalle recensioni abbiamo deciso di provare questo locale nel pieno centro di Bologna e ne siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Locale carino, seppur piccino, personale gentile e cibo buono. Prezzi nella media della città.

25/07/2025: Grassilli is an authentic Italian restaurant. A cozy spot in Bologna serving traditional cuisine. The pasta is perfecto. Staff are warm and knowledgeable about food and wine. A must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Bolognese hospitality. Grazie per tutti
15/07/2025: So... after a disproportioned amount of negative reviews, I wanted to check out what the fuss is. Honestly - I don't know? We did have to reserve. The staff was friendly, explained everything, suggested a wine and plat du jour. More on the french side, rather than pure Italian or Bolognese? A little bit of fusion with simple and clean dishes as the core of the menu with an extensive wine list. Overall a great experience. I can only guess that the 1 star reviews are from people outside Europe that are used to different style of service. For us it was just the right amount of friendliness, calm, but also leave us unbothered.

15/07/2025: The best tagliatelle ragu I had in my one week in Bologna! (And that’s saying something, I ate it almost every day 😅) Came in at lunch on a Monday and there was lots of space. Great for after seeing San Luca!
08/07/2025: June 2025 I stopped at this restaurant after visiting San Luca, a little hungry, we had lunch in four typical Bolognese cuisine, very good courses, first courses, second courses and side dishes, only doubt the friggione that did not seem to me to be Bolognese, there was an anomalous ingredient but still good. Nice environment where you can breathe the air of a Bologna unfortunately forgotten.
