We ate here as two families with four-year-old girls. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional; the food was excellent and good value. Excellent appetizers, delicious traditional and local first and second courses, and tasty desserts. The wine list offered a wide selection and reasonable prices. We'll be back.

Excellent Fassona steak tartare: delicious meat. Good first courses with somewhat small portions. Excellent service. The waitress was smiling and friendly. The atmosphere was very quaint.

A Piedmontese restaurant in the center of San Sicario Borgo, completely pet-friendly (see photos). Simple but beautifully prepared dishes, with exceptional pork cheeks. The service was also very friendly and they took care of our dog, explaining how to make salsa verde (because we were curious). Accessible bathroom.

Piattini tipici piemontesi abbondanti e buoni… Il menù non ha una vasta scelta ma la cucina casalinga premia sempre. Servizio e accoglienza impeccabile. Le ragazze in sala sono molto disponibili e attente, nonostante fosse finito un piatto sono state carine nel consigliarci un’ ottima Guancia di manzo al nebbiolo! Anche gli antipasti erano buonissimi! Un grazie alla bionda che è stata gentilissima e ci ha servito anche un ottimo spritz! Da provare!!!

Here you can find veal with tuna sauce perfect in every detail: the meat is sliced to the perfect thickness (not like it's thinly sliced, as some places do when it's not tender enough) and the sauce is made the traditional way, where you can still taste the finely chopped vegetables, but not pureed, and the tuna is barely discernible. This is how this dish should be! In keeping with Piedmontese tradition, the anchovies with green sauce are delicious, served with buttered crostini and robiolina cheese. The gnocchi with toma cheese are exquisite, and you won't be able to resist the temptation to clean your plate with bread (but skip the breadsticks, which are terrible). The cheek is tender and flavorful. At the end of the meal, you'll want to try a dessert inspired by the bicerin: do so because it's worth it. The place is rustic and understated. The wine list is a bit confusing.
