I ate at Pippo's with some friends for lunch, there were six of us. We had an appetizer of mixed cold cuts, two Florentine steaks and two ribs. The meat was really good, especially the Spanish ribeye. Excellent! The homemade dessert was also very good, I had a Catalan cake. We took some bottles separately. Price in line with the place and the area. The place, perhaps, could use a refresh. The staff was courteous, professional and kind. Honorable mention to the host Pippo, an excellent cook and restaurateur.

Very kind in reserving a table for me even though I had only called the night before. I intended to try the mixed grill, but correctly, first on the phone and then on site, they told me that they no longer do it except for groups, because the various meats need different cooking times. Comprehensive and truthful explanation, a sign of experience and competence. So I had half a portion of bigoli with duck and an excellent cut of beef. It is known that the cut tends to become stringy as it cools. In this specific case, however, it remained soft. As a side dish, a portion of fried potatoes. To drink 0.75 lt. of sparkling water and a quarter of rabosello. For dessert, a good slice of lemon cake and coffee. I was expecting a limoncello at the end... but it's equally true that Pippo rounded up the final bill from 34 to 30 euros, so super-honest. A lovely evening, which I intend to replicate by trying other types of meat. Let's proceed quickly towards the 5th star and it will be a pleasure to give it to my next experience. If you want to eat really good meat this is the place for you. Fantastic grilled meat, ribs, fillet steak and more. The first ones are a bomb. And if you want the skewer you can find that too.
