Randomly recommended by complete strangers, we had a great time! The place is beautiful, welcoming, and clean; the staff is friendly, well-mannered, and very professional; the food is good, with a good variety of choices and generous portions. The view is definitely worth returning to, even during the day. It's worth the few hairpin bends to get there!

We had dinner with the whole family, including four children. The premises, as always, are clean, tidy, and welcoming. The food is always incredibly fresh, high-quality, and cooked to perfection, with attention to every detail. Our first courses: tagliatelle with mushrooms and casoncelli with herbs, both sublime. For second courses, we chose the grilled meat, the spit-roasted meat, and the Florentine steak, all cooked with care, served perfectly and on time. The accompanying vegetables are equally excellent; I recommend the baked potatoes, tender on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, unique. The Florentine steak deserves an extra compliment; such excellent quality and perfectly cooked meat can only be found in certain restaurants in Tuscany. The desserts, all homemade, were also wonderful. The wait staff, as always, was extremely kind and helpful. Pierluigi, at the end of the evening, came to check on our satisfaction, and as always, he made the difference. Aside from the stunning location, with a breathtaking view, this is one of those places you return to again and again because not only does it feel like home, but the food is always better than the last. Before writing a review, I usually go to the same place at least three times. Today was the fourth, so I can give a thoughtful and informed opinion. These gentlemen know their job very well. They use quality ingredients, and the kitchen staff does it with love and passion. The staff is very friendly, and I can see them improving even under pressure. The quality/price ratio is perfect, which is why they deserve five stars. Kudos to the management, who created a perfect combination. Needless to say, I'll be back soon.

I went on Sunday to celebrate my birthday...a real discovery...excellent food, very kind and helpful staff, all accompanied by a splendid view. Menus worth trying one by one at more than reasonable prices...Congratulations...now that I've discovered you, we'll see each other often 👍🔝

"Here you eat well," they used to say in the old trattorias outside the city walls. A saying that still holds true today for "Trattoria da Pierluigi" for its food, courtesy, and ambiance.

We'd never been here. We had dinner here with friends. We chose the grilled meat and horsemeat tagliata menus. The first courses included in the menu were excellent. The dishes were generous and tasty. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

A remote spot in the hills, but worth a visit. It's a quiet place with a magnificent view of the city. The dinner was good, with generous portions, but especially the cured meats were truly delicious. We had an appetizer menu with cold cuts, two first courses: casoncelli with butter, and tagliatelle with mushrooms. For the main course, grilled seasonal vegetables with French fries and baked potatoes, dessert, coffee, sorbet, wine, and water. Total cost: €40. Good value for money. I'll definitely be back.
