As a foreigner, this place does not disappoint! Great food, amazing service, and overall, it's very quick to serve the food. However, they only serve pizza at night, which is the only downside. If you are looking for a tasty, affordable restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine, I definitely recommend going to Da Peppe. One of the waiters was very accommodating and could speak semi-perfect English. If you are in the area to visit Padre Pio, please give this local restaurant a try.

I am passing through S. Giovanni Rotondo and I stopped for dinner at Peppe. Well I can say that I ate a very good bruschetta with tomatoes, olives, rocket and quality olive oil and an equally good pizza. Excellent service, very friendly waiters and good price. Too bad that tomorrow I will no longer be here otherwise I would come back for lunch or dinner another time.

Trattoria buona, pulizia, locale accogliente, personale gentile e cordiale, ottima varietà di scelta nel menù, pietanze buone e molto fresche, ottimo l’antipasto, buone le pizze, squisite le orecchiette con cime di rapa, dolci ottimi. Prezzo nella norma.

I spent 2 days in S.Giovanni Rotondo with my family and my dog, we always had lunch and dinner here,
