A charming little corner, with a delicious breeze and very kind and friendly service (the blonde lady was very attentive). However, the fried calamari was excessively greasy and poorly breaded, so it lacked crunchiness. The pasta alla sorrentina was good, but the "anchovies and pecorino" version lacked a single anchovy. The price was exorbitant for the quality of the offerings. We won't be returning.

It was our first time in Rome – and Trattoria da Paolo was a hit! We ordered the carbonara, and what can I say? It was an absolute dream! So creamy, perfectly seasoned, and simply divine – it couldn't have been better.
The restaurant itself is authentic and cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands.
I'll definitely be back in Rome – if only for this carbonara!
A clear recommendation: If you're in Rome, you should definitely eat here!

It's a trattoria, and you can tell, but the staff was still very friendly and recommended several specialties. The Roman-style tripe was the best I've ever eaten, considering I'm not a fan. They brought us one as an appetizer and we ordered another as a main course. A truly unique experience. The cacio e pepe was also really good.

We went to this restaurant recently, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything was incredibly delicious and full of flavor.
For starters, we had some grilled sheep skewers, and they were simply outstanding, so juicy and perfectly seasoned. The pastas were also extremely tasty and cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere was classic and old-school, with a charming Italian style that made the whole experience even better. The homemade wine they served was really delicious too.
The outdoor seating area was lovely, and our waitress was super sweet and friendly.
