Trattoria da Paolo In Bologna

I only found out now that the restaurant has closed permanently and I'm very sorry about it, because I've always enjoyed the environment, the welcome and, above all, the food. I would like to know if the owner has started a new business in the area and be able to find him! Is there any information about this??

We were invited for a dinner with friends in Paolo's restaurant, for us it was the first time, others had already been there. The restaurant is inside a sports center, which makes free parking at dinner very convenient. Location nothing special, typical of a Trattoria. I took the tagliatelle with meat sauce, very salty and a portion smaller than the standard 80g for me. I don't recommend them. The fish depends, we took different things and tasted among ourselves. I didn't like the pan of calamarata, while the grilled calamari was good. The desserts are absolutely out of place and cost €7 and more for 2 scoops of ice cream. 8 first/8 second courses, 3 bottles of prosecco, 5 desserts and 2 coffees €51 each.. In short, quality of food and portions nothing special.. if we had paid €30 I think they wouldn't have given us anything.. But anyway this is now the practice in many places in Bologna. 3 stars to be wide, but honestly I prefer other places both for price and quality.

Place located inside a Tennis Club. Informal environment, but the food is good.

Excellent fish menu with excellent assortment of wines

Sono stata con mio marito domenica a pranzo, abbia preso 2 primi e 2 secondi di pesce e 2 dolci , una bottiglia di vino bianco circa 55 euro. Cibo di ottima qualità, servizio cordiale e veloce nonostante, il locale fosse pieno. Prezzi in linea con quello che abbiamo preso. Bella la location. Consigliato, ci torneremo sicuramente.
