Wonderful experience. Service and food were top-notch. A welcoming place for those who want to escape tourist spots.

Excellent lunch. Prices are a bit high, but justified by the attention to detail and the staff's expertise. We were looked after by a super-friendly woman. The music was perfect. The location isn't the best for Taormina, but it's worth it. The only thing I would have avoided was the presence of someone I believe to be the owner, who not-so-gently "works" from a table away, taking orders, talking on the phone, etc.

Everything was delicious. The owners were lovely and very attentive to detail. We ordered to share and they brought everything divided into different dishes.

The service was very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We ate there twice during our stay, and both times the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Even though we had to wait a bit, it was absolutely worth it, and we would happily go back again

We had a wonderful, genuinely authentic experience at Trattoria Nino. This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re tasting real Sicilian cooking, made with care and tradition. The food was excellent — fresh seafood, perfectly cooked pasta, and flavors that are simple, honest, and full of character. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality, especially the fish dishes and classic Sicilian pastas. Everything felt homemade and deeply satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional, with a warm, family-run feel that’s a lovely break from more touristy spots. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable from start to finish. It does get busy (for good reason), so booking ahead is definitely worth it. Overall, a fantastic place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Sicilian food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. We’d happily return and highly recommend it.

The mixed fresh raw seafood plate appetizer was the clear star of the night for us. The mixed seafood linguini and tagliatelle with truffle were also both outstanding. The shrimp risotto was decent but didn’t stand out like the other dishes. The lamb with rosemary was disappointing - lamb itself was too overcooked - with tough texture - almost taste like jerky - would have given this place 5 stars if wasn’t for that. Seafood dishes all outstanding and would recommend going for the seafood dishes but base on performance of the lamb I would skip the meat selections.

Great service, waiters are very attentive. We ordered 2 things and said we want to share both, so they brought the dishes with portions already pre-split. At beginning of the meal they offered local olive oil tasting with few different types of bread. Prawns were AMAZING. Truffle pasta was also good but black truffle is not our favourite type of truffle. Pleasant meal overall. We paid 52€ for 2 dishes. (No appetizer no dessert / drink)

We were there off-season, which may have contributed to the restaurant's slightly strange atmosphere. We had a very good dinner, it was delicious, no complaints there.

Excellent restaurant where the food is delicious, the staff are fantastic and speak a little French, which can be helpful. A place I highly recommend 😉
