My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria da Nicola in Montegrotto Terme, an experience that left us with a decidedly positive impression. The restaurant stands out for its welcoming and informal atmosphere, reminiscent of the family environment of traditional trattorias, while maintaining a touch of refinement.
One element that we particularly appreciated is the outdoor veranda, ideal for enjoying the longer evenings in a pleasantly relaxing atmosphere. The general environment is simple but well-kept, helping to create a feeling of well-being and familiarity from the very first moment.
As for the cuisine, the quality of the ingredients is evident. The dishes stand out for the freshness of the products and for authentic and genuine flavors, which suggests great attention to the selection of raw materials and preparation.
The staff has always been courteous and helpful, helping to make the experience more pleasant. Nicola, the owner, manages the restaurant with dedication, and this passion is reflected in the attention to service and the quality of the dishes.
Finally, a curious note: the presence of Bob, the robot waiter, adds an element of modernity and originality that makes the experience even more special and fun.

Stopped by on the drive from Bologna to Cortina D'ampezzo and this was a pleasant find! Decently crowded in early June.
Seafood was tasty and fresh and pasta did not disappoint.

I hadn't been back to this place for over a year and I remembered it as very good. Unfortunately I had to notice a slight worsening especially almost cold dishes, despite our report. I hope it was just a bad day.

Trattoria to discover, off the beaten track. A sure thing for locals, a surprise for casual customers.
Fish is the absolute protagonist! The Catalana off the menu is a triumph of shellfish accompanied by vegetable dips, all absolutely sublime!
Even the first and second courses are protagonists characterized by Lucullan portions.
What can I say, if you are in the area of Abano I can only recommend you try it!

жили в Абано, но на ужин приехали в это восхитительное место. не смотря на свои большие размеры , бронь обязательна, так как всегда полная посадка. меню небольшое, но очень сбалансированное. на закуску брали мидии, очень насыщенный, яркий бульон. на первое пакери с тунцом и затем ассорти гриль морепродуктов и тальяту с розмарином. все морепродукты свежие и хорошо приготовлены, мясо тоже на высоте. вино де ля каза, вполне хорошее. так понравилось, что сегодня приедем на обед, пробовать остальные позиции из меню. добираться только на машине, от Абано 7 минут.очень рекомендую.

Very warm and welcoming environment, really excellent food we ate both meat and fish! I recommend trying the cold cuts as an appetizer because they are their own production... excellent! And finally the desserts are also worth it, homemade even those (including the jam for the tarts!) like the artisanal ice cream. A place that I absolutely recommend!
