Hotel is in the process of being updated. The fitness center is out of commission at the present moment and there is no pool, but it has been replaced by an outdoor seating area with a fire pit.

Consistent quality and service. Comfortable stay. Been staying at this establishment for years when in town and nice to have consistent experience with a non changeover staff that knows my name and preferences when checking in.

Met all of all needs and staff was friendly and accommodating.

You get what you pay for at this Hampton Inn. The hotel is fairly basic, but it covers the essentials well. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free parking was definitely a plus. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown — limited selection and not particularly fresh — so don’t count on it as a highlight of your stay. That said, the location is great. It’s within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, and just a short drive to the airport, Whole Foods, Bass Pro Shops, and other popular shopping spots. Overall, it’s a convenient and decent place to stay if you’re looking for value and easy access to the area.

No Closet in the Room, Gym under repairs, No working station.

I was hesitant to book this hotel coz of the good and bad reviews. After my own experience, I experienced that rooms were clean and functional. Older rugs and outlets. No usb c yet. Bed was comfortable. White and not stained sheets. Bathroom had a weak exhaust. But towels are clean and still white, no stains. Reception service was fast and courteous. Breakfast service was terrible towards the end. They didn’t refill anymore.

We stayed there with only reason, it has pool, it shows it has pool, but when we went there, there is no pool. No chance they can delay checkout. Not good breakfast same as any other 3 or 2 star hotel. Very limited parking space, with trucks parking and noise of trucks in the morning.

This hotel is wonderful! All of the staff were friendly! The room was clean. The breakfast was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!!

We had an overnight stay at the Hampton Inn Albany - Wolf Road a few weeks ago, and it is a solid Hampton Inn. As with every Hampton Inn I’ve stayed in, rooms are typical: king or two queens with a TV, chair, dresser, desk, mini coffee machine. Beds were comfortable; bathroom was updated and had all usual amenities including decent soap, shampoo, and conditioner; walk from elevator was decent; staff were friendly and competent. Breakfast and WiFi are included with your room; we didn’t try the breakfast as we were meeting a friend at the lovely Peaches Cafe. WiFi was decent. Noise level was about the usual at these types of hotels; you’ll hear doors opening and closing and people talking from time to time. There was no out-of-the ordinary hotel sounds. Room and bathroom were clean, and phone-operated key worked well. There is also a pizzeria conveniently located at the corner of the street the hotel is on; we managed to snag a pretty decent pizza (and excellent chocolate cake) by ordering before we left downtown proper and picking it up when we returned to the hotel. And it was open decently late. Temperature control was good, although I didn’t have my one adult child who believes hotel rooms should be roughly the temperature of Hoth with me on this trip to really put it through its paces. Overall, a solid stay. Small ding for location, but if multiple stays in the Albany area over the years have taught me nothing else, there is nowhere in the Albany area closer than “20 minutes in the Northway” to wherever you currently are.
